Toby Stephens, Caity Loz, Denis Lawson. Cert 15. 5060020704864 Anchor Bay 2013. In pristine condition. Just out of the shrinking. Watched once. British Sci-fi. You might also like Humans, Ex Machina, Robotropolis, Transcendence, Her, Terminator, Robocop. In the future the world has been plunged into a cold war. The MOD have created a super weapon. Vincent McCarthy is the lead scientist. There is a glitch and the robot goes awol. Intelligence expert Ava comes to help. Download the extra features. A good cast, impressed with the effects. I liked the opening scene. Contains strong violence. See the Amazon review. The blonde Ava at one seminar is hot. She has an impressive body. The machines have a distinct language for communication. Quite creepy. A fitting soundtrack.
I recommend this film.

Terminator Genesys
Sci-fi action sequel/reboot. Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Clarke, Jai Courtney, Emilia Clarke, Matt Smith. Mixed reviews. But I enjoyed this film and recommend it to you. As with the first film Kyle Reece is to be sent back to 1984 to protect Sarah Connor. However things have changed. The film pays homage to early entries. Good acting, special effects and acting. Emilia has a fantastic body. I hadn't realised that she is the hot dragon lady in Game Of Thrones. I like time travel films. Good plot twists. You might like The Machine, Humans, Predestination. http://www.ew.com/article/2015/06/30/terminator-genisys-franchise-timeline-explained

It is a long distance relationship. She is in Chicago 2006. Architect Alex Wyler is in a lakeside suburb in 2004. Kate had left a note for the next Tennant of a lake house. They write back and forth. I did assume they'd be decades apart. Age Of Adeline is out in cinemas. Warner Bros 2006. 7321900736725. Special features are outtakes, scenes and trailer. There is some nice music on the soundtrack. Good acting and editing. Mixed reviews but I think this is a good movie. Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure was Keanu's time travel movie.
Predestination

Saw a trailer for Robot Overlords. A good start to the film. Nice special effects. I am having to turn the volume up to hear the dialogue. There is a book called Mammoth Book Of Time Travel that I recommend. Interesting story of Jane. Transgender/Hermaphrode. As a man looks like Leo Di Caprio and as a woman looks like Emma Stone. Hawke plays a Temporal Agent travelling through time preventing crimes. He is after a terrorist. Good plot twists. Thought provoking film. I shall look at the forum discussion on this topic. It was a based on a novel. Good reviews on Amazon. I hope that you see this film.

Shocking true events. The elder cast members may have lived through these events. Some super black feminists to follow on Twitter. Some good music. Take a look at this movie.

Due Date Robert Downey Jnr Zach Galifianakis

A comedy cert 15. Interesting so far. Good acting. Nice dialogue. Michelle Monaghon, Juliette Lewis and Jamie Foxx also star. You might also like Anger Management, What About Bob?, Roadtrip, Rat Race, Cannonball Run, Seven Psychopaths, Paul, Dumb And Dumber, Dead Heads, Up In The Air. Peter Highman is a first time father, he is to be back in LA as his wife will giving birth sometime soon. He has a chance encounter with aspiring actor Ethan Tremblay. I think RZA from Wu-Tang Clan plays a customs officer. I've enjoyed their other films like Hangover, Iron Man, It's Kind Of A Funny Story, Dinner For Schmucks. So I thought I'd give this a go. 2010 Warner Bros 5051892026710. Good scene with Peter and the kids of a drug dealer that Ethan knows. 'I'm not an accountant Peter, I'm not even Jewish'. Danny McBride stars as a Western Union rep. Ethan has a pet dog called Sonny. Directed by Todd Philips. Peter has pulled over on a busy road. There's a funny masturbation scene. Out now.

Seven Psychopaths cert 15 BFI and Film4

Stars Colin Farrel, Woody Harrelson, Sam Rockwell, Christopher Walken. Opening scene two hitmen are having a morbid conversation. Lots of special features including a gag reel. Marty is a struggling writer intent on finishing his screenplay 'Seven Psychopaths' all he needs is some inspiration. Charlie is a gangster that has had his dog stolen by Marty's friends. He is going to try and get his pet back. There is a man with a rabbit which I saw from the trailer. Marty's girlfriend is pretty. If you like films with an oddball bunch of characters. Then check out Burn After Reading, I Heart Huckabees. The actress that was in Precious and Tower Heist stars in this. She played Shirese. Nice little chapters introducing each psychopath. Great body on this woman in one scene. The actress is Christine Marzano. A great cast. Contains violence, nudity and swearing. One story tells of an interracial couple that go around killing hitmen. Olga Kurylenko looks hot in a bikini. Nice soundtrack. Out to buy/rent now.

The gargoyles are very much alive. Set in stone but then take human form when needed. There is Queen Leonara and assistant Gideon. Mighty special effects. A new take on the story. Interesting how the souls of the demons return to hell. Gargoyles ascend to heaven. Neberius is the bad boss aka Mr. Wessex. 200 years have passed. Adam is part of a war. He hunts demons. Reminds me of Highlander. Gothic scenery. Lots of action. Violence throughout. Good soundtrack. Has sci-fi horror elements. See Mary Shelley's novel. Take a look.

12 YEARS A SLAVE. cert 15 drama 2014

http://www.africanholocaust.net

I've just seen some great trailers for films I'll indeed be catching up on: Dallas Buyers Club, Tracks, Calvery. A film by Steve McQueen. Based on a true story. You might like Bamboozled, Amistad, The Butler. Won some awards. 1841 Solomon Northup (Chiwetel Ejifor) a free black man, that'd been kidnapped and sold to slavery. The plantation owner (Michael Fassbender) has purchased Soloman. There is a chance meeting with a Canadian abolitionist (Brad Pitt). A steller cast: Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Dano, Paul Giamatti, Lupita Nyong'o. Music by Hans Zimmer. I'm liking the theme song. Special Feature a are a doc looking at the creative team behind the film and also watch Han Zimmer as he composes the soundtrack. There was a mild sex scene. Shot from a sideways position. The book is for sale. Solomon a violinist is offered a job in Washington. There are flashback scenes. Transported to Georgia. Strong language and violence. Solomon's message is delivered to future generations. I wonder what he'd make of President Obama.

Twelve Years A Slave by Solomon Northup. I'd seen the film and so decided on the book. This is a true story. Solomon's memoirs will leave a message to future generations. Obviously it goes into more detail than the film. I recommend you check out both. A young violinist is under false pretences taken to Washington DC to perform at a circus. But he had been kidnapped and sold into slavery down south. I'm selling this on Amazon/Ebay in a few months. Kept in mint condition. First published in 1853. EAN 9780007580422 paperback published by Harper Collins. Was £2.50 in Waterstones. Pollypunk:No Prejudice.

THE RAILWAY MAN drama cert 15 Based on an autobiography by Eric Lomax.

Stars Colin Firth as old Eric, Jeremy Irvine as young Eric. During the war Eric is captured by the Japanese. Tortured and forced to build the Thai-Burma railway. Opening scene had Lomax lying on the floor reciting something. Later in a cafe in 1980. What was fascinating about the trailer was how Eric wants revenge and wants to confront his captors. One of them being Takashi Nagase played by Hiroyuki Sanada. Nicole Kidman plays Mrs Lomax. A great cast. Directed by Jonathon Teplitzky. Lionsgate 2013. Also includes cast and crew interviews. Other autobiographical films I recommend are 12 Years A Slave, The Butler. There are flashback sequences to the war. He operated the radios in Singapore 1942. Eric was traumatised by his experiences. Always was a train enthusiast. Finlay played by Stellan Skarsgard, tells of the experiences in the war. Worth checking out. Brutal scenes. Classical soundtrack. Great dialogue. Heartfelt and thought provoking film. See Amazon reviews. Out to buy. Please share. 'Lest We Forget'

Cuban Fury cert 15 comedy Nick Frost

There's the douchebag Drew intent on making Bruce's hard. Bruce often sees his two best mates. A latin soundtrack. Great acting. Really worked hard on the dance sequences. There is appearance by his old mentor Roy. A gay middle eastern gentleman named Bejan that becomes friends with Bruce. There's a cameo appearence by Simon Pegg. There are special features like out-takes, making of doc, cast commentry, stills gallery, two special films. 5055201824509 From the producers of Shaun Of The Dead, Hot Fuzz, Paul. THE WOLF OF WALL STREET directed by Martin Scorcese. You might also like Wall St, Rogue Trader, Boiler Room, The Lincoln Lawyer, Abritage. Starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Jonah Hill, Margot Robbie, Matthew McConaughey, Kyle Chandler, Rob Reiner, Jon Favreau, Jean Dujardin, Joanna Lumley. Cert 18 5050582972825 Universal 2013. A comedy drama based on a true story by Jordan Belfort. It's about money, sex, drugs, power, corruption. Set in the 80s. It opens with an advert for a financial company. The story follows Jordan Belfont. He narrates, sometimes talks to camera. This film did offend some feminists and christians. Attractive model wife Naomi. She gives him a blowjob in his car. Amazing tits. She has a great body as does the hooker (Natalie Bensel) Jordan was smoking drugs off. Katerina Cas as Chantelle. Flashback scene: Mark Hannan is his boss in the stock market. Jordan age 22, first day on Wall St. Innocent and well behaved. A great cast of actors. Lots of swearing, sex and drug use. Nice tits on display. Become a webcam model #thefappening Nudity in films
A vast array of characters, the nasdaq hooker, blue chip prostitute. Mad Max aka Jordan's dad is funny. More crazier than Malcolm Tucker. Jonah hill does well as Jordan's assistant Donny. You have the shouty receptionist. The actor playing Brad was the original cast member of The Walking Dead. I'm learning quite abit about the stock exchange. There are some Wall St affiliate programs to join. Showing some old footage. The behind the scenes and bloopers must be good. His first wife Teresa was lovely. Not very politically correct. I understand why it offended some folk. It's a funny film. Some good dialogue. It has won awards. There are plenty of good law abiding stock brokers. Most films glorify criminals. Glad to see all these naked female bodies. http://admiringthefemaleform.com A mixed soundtrack. A film that you should see.

Opening scene John (Arnie) is watching a ransom video possibly his wife is the one on it. Being tortured by some criminals. 8 months later the team of DEA agents are on a mission. There are drug cartels that they're up against. At this party there are some hot girls. A short scene with two girls kissing. One is topless, superb tits. Contains strong violence, sex references, swearing. Good action pieces and stunts. There was a load of cash. The squad are taking their cut. Very sneaky. Lizzy (Enos) is a hot red head, she was working on the inside. Monster (Worthington) is her husband. Enos was in Devil's Knot, World War Z. Two great films. Two of the cast played main Lost characters (Michael and Sawyer). The team are under investigation. Each character is introduced. The strip club wasn't very lively. They had become targets. One by one they are being taken out. Focusing on dialogue. The strippers were hot, as was the hostage lady in the safe house. Clever editing and camera work. Some accents are slipping. Expecting some twists. John's son was also taken. There is a delay with the special effects. A good cast of actors that a long career behind them. Feel free to check it out.
5017239142833 Cert 12 Weinstein Company/Walden Media 2014. The Giver cast Brenton Thwaites, Jeff Bridges, Alexander Skarssgard, Katie Holmes, Taylor Swift, Cameron Monaghan, Odeya Rush, Emma Tremblay, Meryl Streep. Based on the novel by Lois Lowry. Screenplay by Michael Mitnick and Robert B Weide. Directed by Philip Noyce.
There are a few good trailers for films which I may just watch. Released by the same company. I like the music that's playing on the menu screen. This is a SciFi drama. Jonas is a teenage boy coming to the end of his college days. At the graduation ceremony the teens are given their roles. It is set in the post apocalyptic future. Mankind has decided to start over. The Elders watch over everything. New rules are in place. Good cinematography. Lots of stock footage representing the history of mankind. In the new society everything is monochrome. It has scenes in colour too. If you like Equilibrium, Inception, Hunger Games, Ender's Game then you should see this. Beautiful soundtrack. Jonas gets training from The Giver. He must harvest all the memories and advise the people on difficult situations. I was not sure what to expect. The girl friend Fiona is pretty, looks like Mila Kunis. Brenton was in Snow White And The Huntsman. He is cute. It is emotional and sentimental. I recommend this film.
X-MEN Days Of Future Past. Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Jennifer Lawrence, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen
A scifi action drama based on the Marvel comic book series. It's a much darker tone. Contains swearing, violence, nudity and humour. Cert 15. 20th Century Fox 2014. Directed by Bryan Singer. Brings together the old cast and new. Ellen Page, Halle Berry also appear. You might've seen Kick-Ass, Super, Man Of Steel, Dark Knight trilogy. Starts of in the apocalyptic future where most mutants have been wiped out. Huge indestructable beings called Sentinels are hunting the X-men. The scene is in several locations. I like the special effects. Great action and funny moments. One girl opens up portals which helps her dodge the enemy. Another moves really fast which sets up a good scene. Charles and Eric are working together. Kitty Pryde helps Logan to travel back in time to 1973 Quantum Leap style. He must locate the young X-men, prevent Mystique from killing Trask (inventor of Sentinels). Good attention to detail. Page and JLaw look hot. Nice music. There's a post credit scene. I saw this at Odean for £5. Pre-order your dvd.

Special 26. Bollywood movie starring Akshay Kumar, Kajal Aggarwal, Manoj Bajpayee, Divya Dutta, Anuparm Kher, Jimmy Sheirgill, Rajesh Sharma, Mukesh Bhatt, Deepraj Rana. Crime drama PG 8902985210332 Viacom subtitled widescreen NSTC. Based on true, yet unreported cases of fake raids that took place in India in the 80s. It has been years since I watched an Indian film. CBI agents are interviewing a young lady in the opening scene. Very different to what I remember of Bollywood. I think the songs are still there. Directed by Neeraj Pandey. There are odd uses of English words in the script which seems daft. Set in Dehli. Camera and cinematography are given an old school look. Two of the actors I watched a few of their films. Worth seeing Mohra. CBI are there to tackle corruption. Intense music. I'd bought this from the library for my mum. It's available now. Abit of slapping. P.K Sharma is the boss I assume. AK looks good. If you like Hustle, Ocean's Eleven then this might be for you. Some humour and twists.

Big Hero 6. A Disney animation. Cast: Ryan Potter, Scott Adsit, Daniel Henney, Damon Wayans JR, Jamie Chung, TJ Miller, Genesis Rodriguez, Maya Rudolph, James Cromwell, Alan Tudyk.
Set in San Fransokyo in the future. Has a lot of Asian influence. Hiro is a teenage boy living with his big brother and hot aunt Cass. I assumed they are mixed race. Where Frozen was aimed at girls and the bond between sisters, this is for boys. About brotherhood. There is a lot of comedy. Impressive special effects. I like the robot convention and Baymax the nurse robot. The music is cool. The DVD that I borrowed from the library is skipping. It stops at the warehouse scene. It's from the creators of Wreck It Ralph. PG cert. 8717418450885 2014. There are other interesting characters in this film. Worth checking out. Award winning short Feast is the bonus feature. I always take a look at the reviews and discussion forums after having seen the film. You are guaranteed a good price on Amazon. If you like previous Disney works, Anime/Manga and Marvel films then I recommend this to you.
WILD starring Reece Witherspoon. You might also like The Way, Tracks, The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty. From the director of Dallas Buyers Club. Cert 15, 20th Century Fox 2014, 5039036072632. Based on a true story, book by Cheryl Strayed. A woman makes a decision to embark on a trek across the Pacific Crest Trail. It's a journey of discovery. A drama. There are some special features. I quite like the song playing during the DVD menu. Laura Dern also stars. There was a nice glimpse of nudity. Some flashback scenes are edited together with the journey Cheryl makes. It's a physically demanding role. Some interesting scenery. The writing is small. The sounds are blended together especially the speeches that Cheryl makes. Reese was in Cruel Intentions, Walk The Line and Devil's Knot which were excellent films. Wasn't sure when or how the film would end. The soundtrack is good. Reece is also a producer.
The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty
Starring Ben Stiller, Kristen Wiig, Shirley McClane, Adam Scott, Kathryn Hahn, Sean Penn. Directed by Stiller. Cert PG, drama. 2013 20th Century Fox. Walter is sat at his desk going over his finances. He has a love interest Cheryl. It's one of those character based slow moving films. Sort of like About Schmidt, Everything Must Go, Up In The Air. He was having a strange conversation with a man from Eharmony. There are fantasy sequences. He is an ordinary man with a wild imagination. His loud actress sister turns up at his workplace to wish him a happy birthday. Tower Heist is another good film of Ben's. Ted Hendricks is the MD of a company that's just acquired Walter's firm (Life Magazine). The scenes between fantasy and reality are blurred/edited together. There is some writing on the wall "To see the world, things dangerous to come to, to see behind walls, to draw closer, to find each other and to feel. That is the Purpose of LIFE." There are people that might connect with Walter. The solitary man, the underdog. You get some strange characters. Sean is a photographer that lives the quiet life. walter is in search of him. The special effects are good. Stunning cinematography. I like the soundtrack. A good film

Dead Heads Cert 15 Independent US film
A zombie horror comedy. Like Shaun Of The Dead, Juan Of The Dead, Warm Bodies. The protagonists are the undead. A few happen to be alot more lively than the rest. A man named Mike is trying to cope with being a zombie. Directed by The Pierce Brothers, sons of Bart Pierce who was the special effects photographer for The Evil Dead. Mike teams up with enthusiastic stoner Brent. They go on a road trip to find Mike's lost love. They are pursued by bounty hunters. Region 2, widescreen, dolby digital 5.0. Made in 2011. The actress playing Linda is hot. The waitress in the bar was a mature woman with big boobs. Cast are Michael McKiddy, Ross Kidder, Markus Taylor, Thomas Galasso, Ben Webster, Greg Dow, Natalie Victoria, Eden Maylan. Cheese is a zombie that the guys must take care of. Cliff the driver has quite a few stories to tell. There are some comical moments. 5060255690567 You should read Zombie Apocalypse by Stephen Jones. Out to buy now. Plz Share.

DRAG ME TO HELL Sam Raimi Ghost House Pictures
This is a horror comedy about a young American woman that is the victim of a gypsy curse. She is in a race against time to end the curse before it ends her. A great cast. Superb effects. I like The Evil Dead trilogy, The Grudge films. The remake starring Jane Levy was awesome. You'll love this if you haven't seen this already. Alison Lohman, Justin Long, Dileep Rao, David Paymer, Adriana Barraza. Cert 18. 5060052418197. Special Features are mainly behind the scenes footage. Region 2 dvd. There are little bits of humour which you cn expect from a Sam Raimi film. Plenty of violence. Check out my other film blogs. A dark and eerie film. Released in 2009. See the film Stephen King's Thinner, Case 39. Alison Lohman hasn't starred in anything since. She turns 34 on 18th Sept. She's endearing. See the ads and links as I recommend these titles. A great book about a man fighting for his soul is the Jack Nightingale series by Stephen Leather. http://movieinsider.com

THE WRONG HOUSE Cert 18 Supernatural Thriller
I bought this dvd from CEX for £6. It's an indie film. Region 0, PAL, Colour, Dolby sound. 5037899028858. Two very different families are looking to buy a new home. They're visited by a mysterious stranger. This leads them to find a deserted farmhouse. They help out a young girl that has had her tongue cut out. It seems they are trapped in this hell hole and the arguments and paranoia set in. It interesting viewing. There's not much of a soundtrack. I like the song that played at the end credits. This is character based. You might also like The Divide, The Shining, 1408, Rose Red, House Of Bones. Stars Marc Singer, Art LeFleur, Hayley Dumond, Janey Gidiosa, Paul McGill, Rebekah Kennedy, Victoria Vance. It's worth seeing the Amazon reviews. Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones

A spinoff of the PA series. A fresh take on things. Connects the other films together. There are some cameo appearances. Set in LA, characters are mostly hispanic/latino. Jesse has just graduated from college. He hangs around with his two friends, one being Hector. They have a camera which they always have with them. Some amusing moments, reminded me of the group of teens in REC 2. There are plenty of hot girls eg Gigi Feshold, Catherine Toribio, Jesse's friend and sister. There is creepy neighbour Ana that lives in the apartment below. She lives in isolation. Oscar is a fellow graduate. The dad works late. A time travel element has been added. The 'ouigi' with the multi light toy was interesting. Also Hector in a basket sliding down the stairs was crazy. Grandma Irma is great. Good special effects and scares. Worth seeing this film. I'm selling my unrated copy on amazon. It's R1, NSTC, no special features. Cert 15. Plays on my UK dvd player. 097363590347 ISBN 1424874392 See Screenrant.com after watching the film. Kishore.

A scientist has been conducting experiments. Think of Human Centipede, Hostel, Saw, Hellraiser, Robocop, Frankenstein, Outpost. Special features: making of documentary. See seller Mrkish2013. Cast members: Joshua Sasse, Luke Newberry, Robert Gwilym, Hon Ping Tang, Alexander Mercury, Andrei Zayats, Mark Stevenson, Karel Rosen as Viktor Frankenstein. Again this has pov/found footage feel. At the moment the soldiers are just milling around. The music is interesting. Liked the look of the trailer. Contains strong language, gore, violence. Trying to understand what these guys are saying, some have strong accents. Bleak surroundings as it is in war. They've met a German farmer. Some Polish folk about. Cruel scene with a rabbit. Similar to Outpost 3 which I'm also selling. Good effects and costumes. Please share my blog.

NECROMENTIA Inspired by the work of Clive Barker, Necromentia tells the story of what happens when you meddle with superstition and try to cross into another dimension using the powers of an Ouija board. Hagan has a dead wife and believes he can bring her back to life. Travis is a man who lost his brother and wants to join him in the afterlife, and Morbius has been betrayed by those he loves and wants to come back from the dead to take revenge.  A strange man only known as Mr Skinny protects the secrets of the powerful Ouija board, as all cross the gateways of hell to fulfil their own purpose, facing the hideous monstrosities that reside there as they go.

MIMESIS Written and directed by Douglas Schulze. Starring Sid Haig, Courtney Gains, Jana Thompson, Allen Maldondo, Lauren Mae Shafer, Taylor John Piedmonte, David G.B Brown. What begins as a horror convention after-party for a group of fans will quickly become a genuine flesh-and-blood nightmare: Trapped inside an isolated farmhouse, they must now survive attacks by hordes of hungry zombies while desperately attempting to escape. But is this gore-soaked siege a twisted prank, an elaborate trap, or has NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD actually come to undead life? Sid Haig (THE DEVIL'S REJECTS) and Courtney Gains (CHILDREN OF THE CORN) star in this award-winning indie shocker from co-writer/director Douglas Schulze that walks the razor-sharp line between edgy homage and depraved reality... then proceeds to rip its guts out.
