Mile 22 Cert 18. Action thriller starring Mark Wahlberg, Lauren Cohen, Ronda Rousey, John Malkovich, Iko Uwais. A good cast of actors, nice special effects and clever story. Some dialogue was hard to keep up with as it could be spoken quickly. Tried wondering what happens with Ronda's character. In the opening credits you get the back story of Silva. He is the leader of a team of CIA operatives. Alice is one of his trusted members. There is the use of technology to monitor what is going on. The former police officer Lee is a good fighter. Nice twist. It opens with a stakeout. There are KGB agents in the USA. During the film there is a plane with Russians and they are also monitoring the action. If you like Bourne, 16 Blocks, The Hitman's Bodyguard then this is the film for you. There is a secret location of a WMD that will kill innocent Americans. Lee has made his way to the US Embassy in Indonesia. He has a disc which requires a code. One which he will give up once the CIA get him to the airport. The local government has sent soldiers to get him. From the director of Patriots Day. Bonus features are included.

Mission Impossible: Fallout. Action thriller. Good effects. The sixth film of the series. Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Rebecca Ferguson, Alec Baldwin, Henry Cavill, Angela Bassett, Sean Harris, Michelle Monaghan, Vanessa Kirby. Nice bit of espionage, trickery, twists and surprises. Tom had injured his foot doing a stunt. Henry was filming Justice League during this time and had to keep the moustache. You might have seen the previous MI films, Spy, Bourne, The Man From Uncle, James Bond, John Wick, Jack Reacher, The Equaliser, Die Hard, The X Files, Angels And Demons. Good stunt work and fight choreography. There was some issue about a continuity error. The Widow is attractive as is the French police woman, Ilsa and Ethan's ex wife. The Apostles are a terrorist organization. They plan to set off nuclear bombs in cities. They are affiliated with the mysterious John Lark. Ethan and his team must infiltrate the operation. There is the plutonium that they must get. FBI sent Walker. MI6 want in on the action. Solomon is alive. The villains want him. Good soundtrack. Trust no one. Multiple locations, great cast of actors, good cinematography. Some humour. Bonus features are included. Please share my blog.

  If you liked World War Z, I Am Legend, 28 Days Later, Dawn Of The Dead, Resident Evil, The Walking Dead, The Girl With All The Gifts, Cargo, REC then you might like Patient Zero. Zombie horror film. Matt Smith and Agnes Dean doing American accents. Hers was slipping later on. Both she and Natalie Dormer looked hot. There is viral pandemic. Like the Rage virus. People become cannibalistic and violent. The trailer does show a lot. Matt's character can communicate with the infected. I would like to know more of the back story how it works. The army general seemed 2d and cheesy. Stanley Tucci stole the show as the professor. A clever man, different from the others, a bit of a challenge. Interesting interrogation scenes. Good stunt work, special effects and acting. In the underground lab the humans seek refuge and are looking for a cure. A variety of characters. They want to find patient zero. I wanted to see more with the ending. Nice soundtrack. Agnes plays the wife of the protagonist. Natalie is a scientist and won't take shit from anyone. It is worth taking a look.

 I rented this from the library. A sequel. SciFi. Cert 15. Set in the far future. The world is going to end. In space a crew onboard a space station are planning on finding an energy source. Well to fire up the collider and so the Earth will be saved. The expirement doesn't go to plan. They are sent to another dimension, pay close attention. It does take on a supernatural element. Great special effects. Many of the cast you will recognise. There is paranoia about who can be trusted. All they need to do now is get home and save the world. Meanwhile on Earth the aliens are attacking. Humans are at war over the lack of resources. All three films were different. Good soundtrack. I had my suspicions about one character. There is the subtitles for the Chinese lady. However they are too small, so miss what she was saying. I believe Zhang Ziyi was in Rush Hour 2. Her boyfriend is a German physicist Daniel Bruhl.  Chris O'Dowd is on board. David Oyelowo is the captain. A variety of personalities. Bonus features included.
 Aksel Jennie, Elizabeth Debicki, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, John Ortiz also star. You may have seen Life, Solaris, Event Horizon, Gravity, Alien, Apollo 13, Apollo 18, Independence Day, Interstellar. Read the books by Stephen Baxter. I recommend that you check this out.

Captain Marvel 8/3/2019 It is the first showing at the Odeon in Loughborough. The two ladies working at the kiosk are hot. One that did the popcorn. Both are teens, blonde. I arrived early. I could have gone to the 1pm showing at Cineworld. I paid £9. £2.50 for a ticket. The deal was £8.50 where you pay for the film, large drink and popcorn. 50p extra for Ice Blast. F10 is my seat. No WiFi in the room. Some men were triggered by the film even before seeing it. There was this annoying teen that could be overheard the end credits. Spectacular film. Great cast of actors which include Brie Larson, Samuel L Jackson, Jude Law, Annette Benning, Lee Pace, Gemma Chan. Brie did look hot. I think that people will be rooting for her character. It will have an impact on young girls like Frozen, Wonder Woman, Spice Girls, Doctor Who did. Nice nods to previous films and to the 90s, which it is set in. I was a teen during that decade. A final cameo by Stan Lee. The Marvel Logo tribute is awesome. Carol Dancers aka Vers is on the Kree planet Hala. She had been training for a war with the Skrulls. See IMDb for trivia. Whilst on a mission to rescue a spy. She is taken onboard a ship. There is a power core that everyone is after. She lands on Earth where she meets Agent Coulson and Fury. She needs to find the scientist behind the machine. Good fight scenes. Expect the usual comedy. Also a lot is mentioned in the trailer. There are twists and surprises. This film leads up to Endgame. So different to other films. You will like the soundtrack. Take a look at the Amazon ads. I had never read the Captain Marvel comics. Mar-Vell is a good nod to Marvel. I knew that Goose the cat will play a big role. It also answers as to how Nick Fury lost his eye. Ignore the critics and go watch this film. It is International Women's Day.

Cert 15 film by Pedro Almodovar. A camp comedy about an airline on it's way to Mexico City. It's in Spanish. Released in 2013. The music during the opening credits is cover of a Beethoven song. Cast: Penelope Cruz, Antonio Banderas. You might like All About My Mother and Talk To Her. You've probably seen Snakes On A Plane, Flight Of The Dead, Airplane, Come Dine With Me, Quarantine 2, Con Air etc. The film is subtitled. 5060002837306. Some other foriegn films I recommend are Juan Of The Dead, La Horde, Les Revenants. Also see Not Another Gay Movie. There is an accident in the opening scene. The baggage handler is busy tweeting. Worth checking out the trailer. I rented this for £3.50 from Blockbuster. The company is Peninsula Airlines. Due Date and Anger Management had funny plane scenes. Some bizarre characters. Alex and Benito are pilots, Joserra is in charge of cabin crew. Fajas is dark haired and stocky. There's Norma is complaining. Also a psychic in a red dress that's weird. Ulloa is slim with a tash. There is a nice dance sequence. I recommend you see this.

Our Idiot Brother 5017239142642 cert 15 Paul Rudd Ned is abit of a hippy. He works on a market stall and ends up selling weed to a cop. He has three sisters played by Elizabeth Banks, Zooey Deschanel and Emily Mortimer. There is Steve Coogan that plays the husband of one sister. Zooey and Rashida Jones make a cute lesbian couple. Nice kissing scene at the dinner table. After Ned's stint in prison he's dumped and made homeless. So his sisters come to the rescue. I liked the comedies Dinner For Schmucks and This Is 40. Elizabeth is hot as always. From Big Beach, Likely Story, Weinstein Company 2011. Other cast members are Hugh Dancy, Kathryn Hahn, Shirley Knight, TJ Miller, Adam Scott. Miranda is an uptight businesswoman, Natalie a comedian and Liz a neglected housewife. Lady Arabella is hot. They're pretty strict and had plans for Paula to marry a young man named Colin. They don't approve of Sam. They've decided to runaway together. They've nicked dad's Rolls Royce. Colin has got into his car and is determined to get her back. Plenty of stunts. You may have seen Drive, Fast And The Furious, Taxi, Cannonball Run, Ratrace, Smokey & The Bandit. I'm watching We're The Millers. A good comedy. Jennifer Aniston looks hot as did the actress playing Tiffany. The receptionist is hot. A good cast. If you like Pineapple Express then you might like this. There's Jason Sudeikis (Horrible Bosses), Will Poulter (School Of Comedy), Emma Roberts and Ed Helms. A roadtrip movie about drug dealers. It was busy in Snibston. Some customers do look miserable/take long making decisions/leave a mess. Watching Behind The Candelabra, judging by the trailer it looked interesting. It's the story about Liberace. Stars Michael Douglas and Matt Damon. Good actors. Camp comedy. You might like I'm So Excited, Not Another Gay Movie. May not be for people that were offended at Brokeback Mountain. Watching Planet 51. A sci-fi animated comedy. A human astronaut lands on a planet that is inhabited. There are lots of references. The era is 1950-60s. Maybe the aliens that visited Roswell took back the cultural influences. Just a back story. There's a dog which is based on the xenomorph from Alien. Worth checking out.

I watched Arbitage starring Richard Gere, Susan Surrandon, Brit Marling, Tim Roth and Letitia Casta. A powerdul drama about a businessman and how far he'd go to keep his perfect life. Great acting. I recommend you see this. You might also like The Ides Of March. I'm watching Robocop at the cinema. I'm the only one here. It was very different from the original series. Joel Kinnaman, Samuel L Jackson, Michael Keaton, Gary Oldman, Abbie Cornish star. The actor playing Murphy was good. I liked the new look of Robocop and that they had Ed209 aswell as other robots. It was a cert 12. Good action sequences. I'm sure there'll be a sequel. Syriana was an interesting film. Once you figure out what's going on. A political thriller about the cia, oil companies and foreign policy. Has a great cast. I've watched both sherlock holmes films.Have to say Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law are great actors. Directed by Guy Ritchie. Good action and special effects. Funny films. Side Effects is a psychological thriller. Rooney Mara is hot. See Amazon reviews.

Interesting opening scene. Good dialogue. http://limitless-movie.co.uk Has a sci-fi aspect to it. The landlord's wife is nice. His mind has been opened up. He talks alot of sense. Glad he got to bone her. I would too. The publisher is a milf. Catch his new film Silver Linings Playbook. Bradley does some good impressions, see youtube. You might like Johnny Neumonic starring Keanu Reeves. Good special effects. Other's have gained an interest in the drug and it's capabilities. This is set in New York. Trippy psychadelic effects. He gets lucky yet again in a nightclub. This film will appeal to guys. Red Lights starring De Niro is a good film. Abbie was great in Sucker Punch. Reminded me of Bruce Almighty. When it comes to drugs with the highs must come the lows. Looking at a trailer I thought De Niro was an FBI agent. But he's a Hedge Fund Manager. He is a handsome man that Mr. Cooper. Another film of his is Hit N Run. Good fight scene based on memory. Side effects his life keeps skipping forward. See The A-Team plus some other films advertised below.
