I have just watched the first episode of Doctor Who season 12. Spectacular start. Interesting alien creatures and nice twist. Good special effects. Around the world Spies are being attacked by an unknown force. MI6 recruits The Doctor and her companions. They go onto investigate a former agence named Barton. Good acting from the cast. Ignore the negativity from morons. Multiple locations featured.

ANNA Thriller. The actress Sasha Luss playing Anna is attractive. With the opening scene a few people are being targeted in Moscow. Anna has been signed up as a model and is staying in Paris. If you like a strong female character then you might enjoy this film. This is a film by Luc Besson. Some subtitles fly by quickly. Blend into the background. Bond, Bourne, Equalizer, John Wick, Mission Impossible, I Spit On Your Grave, Black Widow, Wonder Woman, Atomic Blonde, Haywire, Leon, Revenge. You get a back story. Cillian Murphy, Luke Evans, Helen Mirren also star. There is an agency that hires assassins and spies. You have to look up the trivia. Excellent choreography. Check out the soundtrack. Clever dialogue. Twists expected. Pretty women with nice bodies. I need to look up discussions on the opening scenes.

Child's Play. A 2019 remake. Aubrey Plaza, Mark Hamill, Gabriel Bateman, Bryan Tyree Henry. I like the concept behind this film. Horror film. The Buddi dolls are robotic toys that connect to the internet. One doll, Chucky had all his safety protocols removed. Suffering a glitch. It eventually becomes obsessive and violent. Imagine The Terminator, RoboCop, I-Robot, A.I, Chappie, Short Circuit, The Matrix, Lawnmower Man, Demonseed, Alita Battle Angel, Toy Story. Good special effects. A good cast of actors. Gory graphic violence. Bear McCreary provides the soundtrack. From the producers of I.T. With all the technology in the modern age, the homes that have Alexa, Siri etc. Relevant to today. Worth checking out.

Crawl is a horror film by Sam Raimi. Set in Florida. It is facing it's worst tropical storm. Haley is a swimmer. Her dad still lives in the area. He hasn't been answering his phone. The local alligators have come along for hunting season. It becomes a fight for survival. I thought that I would give this a try. You might like Jaws.

The Dead Don't Die
A slow paced horror comedy. I had fallen asleep. Mind you I had gone to the gym early in the morning. Then out to town again. If you watch the Coen, Farley, Wes Anderson, Quentin Tarantino, Romero films then this is more your thing. Interesting filming location. A zombie apocalypse has taken hold. Due to polar fracking the Earth is off it's tilt. Selena Gomez looks hot though it's a minor role. Chloe Sevigny looking good. Adam Driver, Bill Murray, Steve Buscemi, Danny Glover, Tilda Swinton, Iggy Pop, Tom Waits, RZA, Rosie Perez also star. Deadpan delivery of dialogue. See IMDb trivia for more. Interesting how the Zombies talk but only when they see something of interest. My TV with it's scart cable that doesn't stay in place. Affects the picture and sound. There is a fourth wall break at some point. I am sure that I spotted Milla Jovovich. This is satire and pays homage to the horror genre.

Riveting drama, and great character development. Every person is complicated and has their own story that impacts the manner in which they deal with one another and the issues presented in day to day life. One warning. Plan on several hours if you decide to watch because you won't be able to stop after one episode. Actors are superb. Plot line flows nicely.

I stumbled across Power one vacation while I flipped channels. Starz had a marathon of the show and I watched seasons two and three in a day. I instantly became hooked. When I returned home, it was important to me to watch season one and I was glad that you offered it.

Worth the watch
Right out of the gate interesting. There are many "power" plays going on: the club manager, the wife, the mistress...even James "right-hand" man. Curtis Jackson, aka Fifty Cent, is quite a great actor. Perhaps this was a part tailor made for him but he takes this to a broader audience and makes it quite believable.

OMG!! I always heard this was a good series and how others compared this to Fox's Empire, but I'm here to tell you POWER is nothing like Emipire...I was about to purchase the Starz channel via Verizon, but going through Amazon to purchase Season1 was much better. You pay for what you wanna see once, & not every month.. It's great way to catch up on episodes when you wanna spend a day or weekend inside on the sofa because it's too cold or rainy out.
I was unsure as to why another sequel was made. This is the final film. Good comedy. Disney animation. Bonnie the little girl that now owns Andy's toys had gone to kindergarten. Before she is to start school. Her parents take her on a road trip. Woody and Buzz tag along. A new character Forky who is quite like Olaf is a scene stealer. Great animation and acting. Some creepy sinister characters will show up. Worth looking at IMDb trivia, audience reactions and reviews. Good nostalgia and pop culture references. You do feel for some of the characters. They have interesting back stories. Check out the cast list. Two characters from the fairground. I assumed were voiced by Desus & Nero or Key and Peele. One highlight was the plan that they brainstormed. You will like the dialogue and music. Sweet relationship between Woody and Bo. Pixar bringing that Disney magic. I'm not concerned about what Tim Allen does outside of this film. There was a lot of hype around Keanu Reeves being in this film. I recommend that you watch this. Be sure to check out Frozen 2. Disney+ is a new streaming service. To Infinity And Beyond.
