Escape Room is a psychological horror. It is a guy's birthday. He is with his girlfriend and they are headed to the restaurant to meet some friends. A trip to a place where they hold escape room type games is organised. You have this phone conversation during the opening credits. You are given clues as to who the villain is. There is a history between the characters. In the rooms they don't have any instructions but seem to work out what needs to be done. I do wonder what happened with Asian friend. Clever games, good special effects. The actors have been in other things that you may recognise them from. One of the characters wearing glasses is annoying. The blonde Kristen has nice tits. I did feel that I may have seen this film before. It is an indie flick. See the reviews.

The Platform, a horror drama. Netflix release. Spanish with subtitles. In a prison with many floors. Two prisoners per level. You get to see what the staff are up to. Some flashbacks. Level 48, the protagonist Goreng wakes up and he is with Trimagasi, a pensioner. Mysterious. There is food on a platform being lowered. All you can eat. Limited time. Gruesome. You might also like High rise, Big Brother, Saw, Circle. Interesting dialogue. Good actors. One of the characters reminds me of Caitlin Jenner. Must look at trivia, discussion and a review. You might be interested in the soundtrack.

I have just watched a comedy drama scifi indie film. James Vs His Future Self. James is a young scientists on the verge of discovering time travel. He has his hot sister Meredith who lives with him. She usually does her own thing. Courtney is a work colleague that comes to visit. He shares most things with her. We know that there was a family tragedy many years ago. Courtney does come off as annoying. The actress that plays her is attractive. She would at a time traveler in a Netflix movie. So anyhow you have the boss that is featured. She is an odd character. Jimmy the older version has time travelled. He wants prevent James from making the same mistake. Interesting film. You might like the soundtrack. Does contain swearing and violence.

Doom Annihilation is a scifi horror film. The ratings were low. But sometimes it's best to ignore the reviews. Good special effects. The females are hot. There are some walking clichés. The pilot reminded me of Tennessee in Alien Covenant. I used to play the game years ago. There is a science lab on Earth and they have managed to create a portal to a moon orbiting Mars. There is a facility there. Meanwhile you have a spacecraft flying to said moon with a military crew. As always you have a scientist on board who won't fit in. Interesting to see how things pan out. Click on the Amazon ads to see similar films. One of the creatures were probably based on Xenomorphs. The others are multiple members of the Blue Man Group.

Netflix presents In The Shadow Of The Moon Set in Philadelphia. It starts of with an apocalyptic scene in 2024. Jumping to the beginning of the story in 1988. Officer Lockhart is investigating a series of murders. The victims are miles apart. You have a female serial killer that strikes and then dissapears only to appear 9 years later. What interested me to the story was the time travel element. Whilst I was trying to watch this film a family member was talking to herself. Good special effects. A great cast of actors. I am sure when you see the film that it will probably trigger some people. I will look at trivia and discussions. The actress playing the grown up daughter is attractive.
