I have just watched Justice League Snyder Cut. Available on Hbo Max and NowTv. It is very different to the version released in 2017. That one was directed by Joss Whedon. He made significant changes. A lot of footage on the cutting room floor. I liked the old version and this one. Many got screwed over especially Ray Fisher and Zack Snyder. The Cyborg and Flash got more airtime in this. The soundtrack has been redone. Not sure about the Wonder Woman theme in this version. The film is darker and more adult. You might the soundtrack. Worth checking out. Well taking place after Batman Vs Superman. Bruce Wayne wants to get a team together as the world is in danger. Steppenwolf is here to gather the Motherboxes for Darkseid. Some scenes that were in the 2017 version are featured here. They did cut other bits out. I noticed that the European family aren't in it. With all the allegations that came out about Whedon this is the final nail in the coffin. It is longer than Avengers Endgame. It is in parts too.

I have just started watching season 1 of Grimm. If you liked Constantine, Buffy, Angel, Bright, The X-Files, Supernatural then you should see this. A horror drama series. You have the protagonist that is a homicide detective. Interesting concept. Not sure how much was spent on special effects. Good cast of actors. You might like the music. The detective has a gift.

I have started watching Marvel Runaways on Disney+. A TV show mostly aimed at a team market. Has superheroes. An eclectic soundtrack. The songs keep playing every few minutes. There were a group of friends that used to hang out before tragedy struck. The parents all know each other. I will see how long I stick with this. There are secrets. The blonde one is attractive. In the scene where she is getting carried up the stairs at the party. You can see her ass. If you liked Stargirl, Smallville, New Mutants then this is worth a look.

This is the third and final film. I had watched Skyline and Beyond Skyline. This takes place 15 years after the invasion. Connecting all three films. Rose is now a grown woman. Her brother Trent is a Pilot. Those alien creatures with human brains. There is a virus turning the Pilots bad. In cliché fashion a team of mercenaries is created and they set off for the alien planet. This is an indie scifi so special effects on a budget. It is a decent trilogy. A diverse cast. I remember when Rhona Mitra was the live model for Lara Croft. The soundtrack will be available soon.

I have just watched Boss Level A scifi film starring Frank Grillo, Mel Gibson, Naomi Watts, Michelle Yeoh, Ken Jeong, Annabelle Wallis. A fair few hot women. Nice action and comedic scenes. I like the scifi element especially. A special ops officer is stuck in a time loop on the day of his death. So he is going to try to survive the onslaught of assassins headed his way. If you like Happy Death Day and John Wick then this is for you. Frank is in great shape. This is now showing on Hulu.
