Whouniverse

Doctor Who: Power Of The Doctor. A centenary special. The final outing for the Thirteenth Doctor. Starring Jodie Whittaker, Mandip Gill, John Bishop, Sacha Dhawan, Sophie Aldred. Featuring plenty of cameos. The Fam are having to deal with the Cyberlords. Meanwhile The Master has put a plan in place. Ace and Teagen have been investigating disappearances. The soundtrack is good. Chris Chibnall also left the show.

Flux capacitor

Doctor Who series 13. It has returned. I watched episode 1. It has a Halloween theme. Starting off in Liverpool. You meet Dan, a new companion. He is a trades man and volunteers at the food bank. I wasn't sure about the opening scene with Yaz and The Doctor or with some special effects. There is an alien that resembles a dog. You have a powerful alien that is possibly the season antagonist and I knew that he would escape. The Sontarons and Weeping Angels are back. There is a lot going on. Trying to make sense of it. New music. The Flux is similar to the Antimatter Wave. An apocalypse is taking place. The screen wasn't so clear thanks to the iplayer site.

I watched the New Year's special of Doctor Who. Nice how they connected it to last year. References to old characters are made. The Daleks are being created. The Doctor is currently in the Judoon prison. There will a variety of different opinions about this episode. Interested to see the youtube reactions. Great cast as always. Good soundtrack.

Having watched the recent series. The finale was great. Sacha Dhawan and Jodie Whittaker shined. Nice origin story and twists. Lone Cyberman was a good villain.

I am currently watching The Flash and Legends Of Tomorrow. I started season one of CW Constantine. Stars Matt Ryan as the master of the dark arts. Good actors, special effects and story. John spent time in a mental health hospital. He had lost a young girl Astra to a demon. Legends tackles that story in season 5. He has to go help a young woman named Luv who's life is in danger. He is a good character. I saw the movie, animation and read the Hellraiser comics.

Gemini Man is a SciFi thriller starring Will Smith, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Benedict Wong, Clive Owen. Good soundtrack. Nice special effects and filming locations. The opening scene is impressive where the hitman Henry is on a hillside. Sniper aimed at a target sat on a moving train. He wants to go into retirement. The head of the DIA doesn't want to let him go so easily. A new breed of soldier is sent to hunt him down. Henry is on the run with a few friends by his side. Good acting. Props to the body double and stuntmen. You do feel sorry for Junior. Nice dialogue. I recommend that you watch this film. I have just watched the first episode of Doctor Who season 12. Spectacular start. Interesting alien creatures and nice twist. Good special effects. Around the world Spies are being attacked by an unknown force. MI6 recruits The Doctor and her companions. They go onto investigate a former agence named Barton. Good acting from the cast. Ignore the negativity from morons. Multiple locations featured.

Series 12 will appear here

Sunday, 22 July 2018

The Woman Who Fell To Earth. New cast of actors. More poc featured. I know some bellends will take issue to that. No opening credits. The theme it different to previous ones. It has a little nod to the classic series. The assistants all have a back story. What an entrance for Thirteen. A mysterious creature what I would liken to the machines in The Matrix and aliens in The Darkest Hour has appeared in Sheffield. Makes a change from Cardiff and London. Meanwhile a pod has appeared by the hillside. This alien that we'll call Tim Shaw is sort of like the Predator. Out to collect a human trophy. The soundtrack is new. The series is quite dark. Ryan is a warehouse worker. Graham and his nan Grace are married. They'd come to visit him. Yaz is a policewoman. The Doctor after a regeneration is trying to figure things out. The TV has abit of a buzzing noise. My mum is talking to herself. I could look at Twitter. Also see the reaction videos on Youtube. The end credits also showcase actors appearing in future episodes. Jodie Whittaker, Mandip Gill, Bradley Walsh, Tosin Cole, Sharon D Clarke.
