CD Universe - Find New Release Music CDs by Music Artist, Studio Label or Music Album Title

Use the search widgets to find the films on Amazon and CdUniverse. I have rented Insidious: The Last Key. Another prequel which leads up to the original. Quite different from the others. Some surprises are in store. You get to see Elise's childhood. Great cast of actors. Imogen and her sister are hot. Not sure of the age as the sidekicks are lusting after them. Written by and starring Leigh Whanell. Other cast members are Lin Shaye, Angus Sampson, Josh Stewart, Caitlin Gerard. The team are on another job to help a man deal with things that go bump in the night. It happens to be Elise's childhood home. The actor that plays her dad was in The Collector. Oren Peli, James Wan, Jason Blum are involved in the making of this film. See the other pages of this blog for interesting posts. Cert 15. Bonus features are deleted scenes, alternate ending, behind the scenes documentary.

All The Money In The World is a Ridley Scott film inspired by true events. Great story and acting. Multiple locations, checkout the cinematography. Standout performance from Christopher Plummer, Michelle Williams and the actor Domain Duris playing the head kidnapper. Charlie Plummer plays Paul Getty a young man kidnapped in Italy. He is held for ransom. His grandfather is scrupulous. Reluctant to hand over the cash. Paul's mother must do what she can to get her boy back. Mark Wahlberg has been hired by the Getty family. I saw the trailer and recently got hold of the DVD. You may have seen Money Monster, The Wolf Of Wall Street, Tower Heist, Wall Street. This film would have starred Kevin Spacey but then the sexual assault allegation came about.

A horror from Blumhouse Pictures. Stars Jessica Alba. There is a lone survivor of a mass suicide organised by a cult. 25 years later she along with a crew of journalists go back to the place to see what happened. It isn't strong in colour. Opaque. Almost black and white. More is revealed about the intentions of the cult leader. You may have seen Evil Dead, 2001 Maniacs, Get Out, Insidious, Sinister. Surprises are in store. See IMDb  trivia and forum discussions.

Laurel And Hardy DVD. A Chump At Oxford. I had watched a larger collection on DVD before. Three films. Recently there was some Yanny nonsense. First starts of as the duo are looking for work. They eventually are enlisted at Oxford Uni. The local Brits decide to have a little fun with them. You can view it in b&w or colour. You may have also seen Charlie Chaplin, The Marx Brothers and Buster Keaton. Cert U. 1930-40.
From Soup To Nuts is a silent film. Very old quality. A shout out should be given to the other cast members. Stan and Oliver have been hired as Waiters at a mansion. Visual slapstick comedy. It does get me thinking about the era and racial segregation. I will see of there are any descendants of the actors. What happened with the other cast? Mayhem and misunderstanding. Old school classics. Another Fine Mess is a talkie. There was an intro by twins. A rich property is for rent. It has characters that you would see from previous films. The owner of the home has gone on vacation. Laurel and Hardy are on the run from the police. The service staff have left the place unattended and so that leaves our heroes. A couple have arrived to rent the home as advertised. The character of Agnus was first used here. The man has a weird laugh.

Humans

I have watched Humans season 3 online. It is back on Ch4. A year later after season 2 finale. Society is divided. It echoes USA and Britain in the past 60 years. The green eyed synths live on the outskirts. Humans tend to look after their own. New orange eyed synths are created to do menial jobs. The original cast members are back alongside new ones. The actress playing Agnus is hot. Not forgetting Mia, Karen and Niska. Maxie is a legend as always. There was a lot of love for him before. Great acting and effects.

I am watching Ghost Month. It is an independent horror. Labelled as The Grudge meets Haunting In Connecticut. Wide screen ratio and there is a line of weird shit up top. You might like Seventh Moon. This American teen has gone to the home of a Chinese woman and her aunt who does nothing but stare. It is that time of the month where the spirits of the dead roam amongst the living. Cert 15. This DVD was amongst a whole bunch that were bought from the market I believe. Mixed reviews on Amazon. The acting, dialogue and special effects are of the standard expected with indie films. The ex boyfriend leaves a message "you're just a fucking whore like my mother." This Blake character is odd. He probably wants to hump the housekeeper. If there is a reaction video on YouTube then check it out. The landlady seems odd. Always showing up at odd times. Nice one minute, rude the next. Not scary. I'm glad that I didn't pay for it. Not paying much attention. My mum talking in the next room. This film is boring me. Abysmal.

I have watched this film again after several years. Written, produced and directed by M. Night Shayamalan.
The Village has an all star cast. A big twist as expected. Bryce Dallas Howard, William Hurt, Sigourney Weaver, Joaquin Phoenix, Adrien Brody, Brendan Gleeson, Judy Greer. Set centuries ago in America. A small village similar to the Amish lifestyle. A thriller drama cert 15. A close knit community that fears the outside world. There is a love story. Scary creatures lurk in the woods. As people are falling I'll. Some are willing to go to the nearest town to fetch medicine. I like he soundtrack. Bryce and Judy would again play sisters in Jurassic World.

A SciFi drama by M. Night Shyamalan. Starring Mel Gibson, Joaquin Phoenix, Abigail Breslin, Cherry Jones and Rory Culkin. Cert 12. Aliens have come to Earth and this story focusses on a family farm. Odd things go on here and there. Crop circles are discovered. A clever film as most of the ones by this director are. Abigail was cute. I eventually sell DVDs on ebay. There are films like Independence Day, Skyline, Encounters Of The Third Kind, Invaders From Mars, The Darkest Hour, Skywalker Ranch, The Fifth Wave, Dark Skies, Roswell, The X-Files, The Outer Limits, The Day The Earth Stood Still to name a few. James Newton Howard provides the soundtrack. A 2002 Touchstone Pictures release. There are comedic moments as expected. Creepy scenes too. The children and their dialogue are the highlights. Be interesting to see grown up Abigail react to her younger self. Also see returning actors in future films. Glass is currently in production. America is a fascinating place considering the locations that they have used. Shyamalan always has a cameo role in his films. Great acting. Worth seeing discussions, theories and reviews of this film. Remember "swing away."
