Superman/Shazam! The Return Of Black Adam

Cert 15 animation from DC/WB.
I rented it from the library. It was skipping. Billy is a homeless boy that had been in foster care. He has a good heart. He knows Clark Kent. He meets the Wizard named Shazam. He grants him special powers. He is referred to as Captain Marvel which he was originally known. Due to a lawsuit the name was changed. I was watching this more for Superman. I'm not to keen on the lopsided cape of Shazam. Black Adam has come to Earth and he wants to take Billy's powers. The film is short. I hoped it would be longer. Nice fighting scenes. I doubt that I will watch the film in the cinemas. I am currently watching The Flash season 5.
There are extra films. The Spectre which is set in the 70s and they have made the visuals look that way and with the soundtrack and effects. A man has been murdered and a spirit comes back to take vengeance. I like the DC intro. There is a detective on the case. Set in Hollywood. You may have watched Constantine and Supernatural. Quite brutal like a horror film. See Dark Man. I have to look into his back story.
Green Arrow, Oliver McQueen is on his way to see his girlfriend. He the villain Merlin. A princess's life is in danger. Other characters make an appearance. The pack of arrows is like a utility belt. Never ending arrows and each has a function. I know that it is a short film but hoped for more. There is a greenish hue. Season 8 of CW Arrow is the last. Animation and comics will continue
Jonah Hex. Set in the wild west. Jonah has supernatural abilities. The prostitute Madam Lorraine is attractive. There is more to her than meets the eye. Each of the films have a different look to it. Jonah has come looking a cowboy that was last seen in the saloon. Good music. You will recognise some of the actors. Special features are included.

I spit on your grave 3: vengeance is mine

I found this film online. I liked the previous films. You might have seen Saw, The Purge, Revenge, Hostel and similar ones. Jennifer from the first film is back. She has nightmares about her ordeal. Goes to group therapy. He straight talking goth friend wants to dish out justice. She is quite annoying. The site that I am watching on, it keeps buffering. After a tragic event and hearing other people's stories. She decides to do something about it. Feminists might like this. Incels will be triggered. Some violent scenes are dream sequences. It is pretty brutal. Miss Hills is a psycho. Lynn the counselor is annoying. Great cast and effects. I could not find a soundtrack. Cast. Sarah Butler as Jennifer Hills / Angela Jitrenka. Jennifer Landon as Marla Finch. Doug McKeon as Oscar "Koza" Kosca. Gabriel Hogan as Detective McDylan. Harley Jane Kozak as Therapist. Michelle Hurd as Detective Glenn Bolton (in the end credits listed as "Detective Boyle") Russell Pitts as Matthew.

City of Demons

Constantine: City Of Demons. WB Animation. I hadn't known that it existed. If you liked the Anime movies and Batman: Gotham By Gaslight then you should check this out. I have seen the Keanu Reeves film and read the Hellblazer comic. I am trying to get the CW TV series. This movie is dark. I wasn't sure about the accents of the British couple that are friends of John. There is a well spoken demon. I like the actor's voice. I imagine Stephen Fry or Brian Cox. It started of with John in a mental institute and his friend Chas visits him. Fast forward a decade or more. Chas needs John's help. The daughter is in a coma and something sinister is happening. Matt Ryan is in the CW series. So the animation was a mini series. Jim Meskimen is a good impressionist. This was out in 2018. John has help from the Nightmare Nurse. He travels to LA. He is offered a job by Beroul. Doing a deal with the devil in a way. For him to get the girl's soul back he has to eliminate the competition. The party that Beroul has is just crazy. Interesting characters and effects. The sound does go up. I see what they did with one of the characters. Jack Nightingale series by Stephen Leather
