Overlord cert 18 A horror film. You might have seen Outpost and Dead Snow. See the ads. Trailers before the film: Pet Sematary, A Quiet Place. Paramount Pictures and Bad Robot.
Produced by J.J. Abrams.
During Ww2 American paratroopers on board a plane are entering French airspace when shit hits the fan. The Nazis have been creating super soldiers. There are a mixed bunch of characters. Boyce is one of them. There will surprises. One chap Tibbet talks a lot and sounds a little like Joe Pesci and Jon Lovitz. The Corporal has a no nonsense attitude. A French woman named Chloe joins them. The target is a radio tower. The trailer was interesting. Chatter in the next room is pissing me off. Chloe's brother loves baseball. Her aunt is sick. The Nazi general is attracted to her. The subtitles are small. These fascists were and still are fuckwits. Chase is a war photographer. Good cast of actors. I like the special effects. Expect violence, swearing and gore. Cast info from IMDb. Special features are included.Nice end credits song.

Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones

A spinoff of the PA series. A fresh take on things. Connects the other films together. There are some cameo appearances. Set in LA, characters are mostly hispanic/latino. Jesse has just graduated from college. He hangs around with his two friends, one being Hector. They have a camera which they always have with them. Some amusing moments, reminded me of the group of teens in REC 2. There are plenty of hot girls eg Gigi Feshold, Catherine Toribio, Jesse's friend and sister. There is creepy neighbour Ana that lives in the apartment below. She lives in isolation. Oscar is a fellow graduate. The dad works late. A time travel element has been added. The 'ouigi' with the multi light toy was interesting. Also Hector in a basket sliding down the stairs was crazy. Grandma Irma is great. Good special effects and scares. Worth seeing this film. I'm selling my unrated copy on amazon. It's R1, NSTC, no special features. Cert 15. Plays on my UK dvd player. 097363590347 ISBN 1424874392 See Screenrant.com after watching the film. Kishore.

I've just watched Outpost 3: Rise Of The Spetsnaz. It is a prequel horror war film. Set in 1945, follows the Russian soldiers that discover the base where the Nazis have been doing their experiments. Bryan Larkin stars as Dolokhov, a man that'd put Zangief to shame. he is leading his team. Ivan Kamaras plays Fyodor. Michael McKell stars as the ruthless general Strasser. There is plenty of violence, swearing, gore. Brutal fight scenes. Special features is the making of documentary. Worth checking out. You might also like Frankenstein's Army, Dead Snow, War Of The Dead. R2, widescreen, cert 18, 5030305517427.
