On The Basis Of Sex is a biopic based on a true story. Following Ruth Bader Ginsburg from her days at Harvard onwards. Felicity Jones plays Ruth. Her husband Martin is played by Armie Hammer. Dealing with a sexist society. Things may have got easier but there are still problems women have to face today. I have placed the Amazon ads of things you might like. I highly recommend them. At home they have baby Jane. Martin is ill. Ruth has a lot to deal with. She won't be put off so easily. Great acting from the cast. This film about strong women will trigger the fragile males. I usually look at trivia and some reviews or discussions. Shutout to costume, hair, makeup and props department. Their son James is introduced later on. Good dialogue that people will remember. The soundtrack is varied. These Conservatives, anti feminists, incels could learn something. Look up Clara and Paul Spera. The Constitution written all those years ago is unjust. You have to avoid the clichés. Can't read the white subtitles on the light background. Love the touch at the end. Nice end credits song.

30 Miles From Nowhere is a indie horror. Stars Rob Benedict amongst others. Set in Wisconsin. A group of friends have met for a funeral. Some awkward dialogue. Some characters are mildly annoying. The subtitles are automatically up. I have seen a fair few films where the event takes place in a few days and random characters are trapped together. I had been at the gym early in the morning. I had fallen asleep. Anyway, the actors have had a long career. I may take a look at reviews, discussion and trivia. There are twists. Up to you.

Far from home

I went to the cinema to watch Spiderman Far From Home. The sequel to Homecoming. It follows on after the events of Endgame. Tom Holland, Jake Gyllenhaal, Zendaya, Samuel L Jackson, Jon Favreau, Marisa Tomei. Jacob Batalon, Cobie Smulders. Great acting, action and special effects. Liked the end credits design. After the loss of Iron Man, Vision, Black Widow and Captain America people are trying to adjust to their new lives. The Blip happened. People were returned to the land of the living. Never having aged. The world had moved on. Peter has a few things that he would like to tell MJ. The college is organising a trip to Europe. A new threat has come to wreak havoc. A stranger named Mysterio has come to the rescue. Expect humour. There are post and mid credit scenes. Good soundtrack. More Marvel films are planned. I was fascinated by some of the tourist attractions. I think the audience will visit Europe. I recognised a British actress that I saw on Alan Partridge. I wasn't sure about the film at first but eventually got to see it. I recommend that you do. Please visit the ads. Share this blog.

Sorry To Bother You. A comedy set in an alternate Oakland. Cassius Green goes to work for a telemarketing company. Some strange scenes. Nice nudity. Tessa Thompson looks hot. Lakeith Stanfield, Armie Hammer, Danny Glover, Stephen Yeun also star. Good acting. One of the team leader could be based on Matthew McConnaughey's character in Wolf Of Wall Street. Nice soundtrack. He is becoming successful. His colleagues are protesting. Cert 15. Satire. Unique story. Take a look at the ads for films you might like.

A great sequel. SciFi horror. Nice soundtrack. I like how they did things different to the previous film. A Blumhouse Production. There is an explanation as to why this time loop exists. Tree amongst her friends have to deal with the problem. You get a different perspective. Alternate realities. A killer is still on the loose. Different shit same day. I like how 12:01 was referenced. Tree is hot as always. Ryan adds comedy and he is the other person to experience a time loop. Good use of same actors, props, direction and special effects. Cert 15. Bonus features are included. Jessica Rothe. Worth looking at trivia and theories. Full cast list.
Music from the film.

Oscar award winning Green Book. Viggo Mortensen, Mahershala Ali. Cert 12. Based on a true story. Set in 1962. America was racist like it is now. Tony Lip, prejudiced, a racist. See what his son's book says. You may have seen Black Kkklansman, The Butler, Detroit, The Bucket List. You might enjoy the soundtrack. Tony has been working as a club bouncer. He is hired by Dr Don Shirley, a famous musician. They go on a road trip together. A good cast of actors. There was controversy surrounding this film. Two opposing personalities. They apparently formed a bond. Is this some kind of bromance. It was ridiculous the way these whites perceived people of colour. It is a shame that these morons still exist. There is some humour and drama. I don't like aspects of certain characters. I may look at the background story and the reviews. There was a disturbance at the door. Tony starred in The Sopranos. The dialogue between the two is entertaining. Good cinematography, costume, acting from all the cast.
Worth taking a look.

We didn't start the fire

I am watching a biological drama about the war correspondent Marie Colvin. A Private War stars Rosamund Pike, Jamie Dornan, Stanley Gucci. Pike is doing a good job. Cert 15. She worked for the Sunday Times. Story begins in 2001. She goes on a trip to Sri Lanka. She goes to Baghdad. Multiple film locations. A strong independent woman uncovering the truth and trying to make a difference in the world. Special features are increase. You might also like Noble Wild Tracks Suffragette The subtitles are on. I don't think much to the nudity. Violence and gore is graphic. Best to give the film your full attention than blogging during it. Give praise to the cast and crew. Good including an interview with the lady herself. I usually look at imdb trivia and Wikipedia. See her articles and what others say about her. You might enjoy the soundtrack. Like and subscribe to my blog. War, what is it good for?
