Val Kilmer, Chris O'Donnell, Jim Carrey, Tommy Lee Jones, Nicole Kidman, Drew Barrymore, Michael Gough, Pat Hingle.
Directed by Joel Schumacher, produced by Tim Burton. The third film. Comical and action packed. Different to the previous films. Batman now has to face Harvey Dent aka Two-Face and Edward Nigma aka The Riddler. I didn't think much to Dr. Chase Meridian. Colourful cinematography and costumes. Bruce Wayne has taken in Dick Grayson after a tragedy. The actors get to camp it up. You will like the soundtrack. Seal-Kiss From A Rose is a great song. There is a new CW series to be made called Batwoman.

Batman And Robin starring George Clooney, Chris O'Donnell, Michael Gough, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Uma Thurman, Donald Glover, Elle MacPherson, Alicia Silverstone. Directed by Joel Schumacher. Some inspiration from the TV series. Comical superhero film. There would not be another Batman film until Batman Begins. People did moan that it killed the franchise. Some parts the actors would dub over as it happens in film making. Starts of with the caped crusaders going on a mission. Nice theatrical scene. The ice skating henchmen playing hockey. Mr. Freeze is there to steel a diamond. Bane is created from a super soldier serum. A local scientist that is an environmentalist is transformed during an accident into Poison Ivy. Uma looks good here. Good references. Using special effects. Some jokes. The dialogue could work in the classic Bond films. This DVD is two discs. The second has special features. The Batmobile has been given a makeover. Alfred is dying. His niece has come to visit. Batgirl joins the team. It is a great cast. Tom Hardy's portrayal of Bane is better. I am selling this DVD on eBay.
Nice soundtrack.

THE RAILWAY MAN drama cert 15 Based on an autobiography by Eric Lomax.

Stars Colin Firth as old Eric, Jeremy Irvine as young Eric. During the war Eric is captured by the Japanese. Tortured and forced to build the Thai-Burma railway. Opening scene had Lomax lying on the floor reciting something. Later in a cafe in 1980. What was fascinating about the trailer was how Eric wants revenge and wants to confront his captors. One of them being Takashi Nagase played by Hiroyuki Sanada. Nicole Kidman plays Mrs Lomax. A great cast. Directed by Jonathon Teplitzky. Lionsgate 2013. Also includes cast and crew interviews. Other autobiographical films I recommend are 12 Years A Slave, The Butler. There are flashback sequences to the war. He operated the radios in Singapore 1942. Eric was traumatised by his experiences. Always was a train enthusiast. Finlay played by Stellan Skarsgard, tells of the experiences in the war. Worth checking out. Brutal scenes. Classical soundtrack. Great dialogue. Heartfelt and thought provoking film. See Amazon reviews. Out to buy. Please share. 'Lest We Forget'
