I am watching a SciFi film called I Am Mother on Netflix. Stars Hilary Swank. I did meet her back in 2011 whilst working at a hotel. Clara Rugaard-Larsen, Luke Hawker, Rose Byrne also star. In a post apocalyptic future. I did assume from the trailer that it was in space. But it is set on Earth. In a facility is a robot named Mother. She raises a human child. Mother is strict and overprotective. A lone stranger appears at the door in need of help. It is a fascinating story. Trust, survival, family are key issues. Superb acting and special effects. I absolutely recommend this film. I will look at trivia and discussions now that I have watched it.

HIGH LIFE
An independent European SciFi film from Claire Denis. Stars Robert Pattinson, Juliet Binoche, Andre Benjamin, Mia Goth. Cert 18. An English language film. A young man is on board a ship with his baby daughter. They are heading into deep space. There are a few fantastic space movies that I recommend. See the Amazon widgets. It is slow paced. Chilled out soundtrack. I have included the trailers that appear on this DVD. The people are convicts. One final mission and they will be free. Acting alongside a child. One surprising scene early on which you have to see for yourself. You see some of his memories. I will look at IMDb trivia and discussions about this film. I'm not a fan of the Twilight saga. Check out Maps To The Stars. Juliet has a nice body. Mia was in A Cure For Wellness. Andre 3000 also stars. You should read the books of Stephen Baxter. Some moments are strange. Nice breasts on Mia. Strange insemination scene. Quite gross. More is revealed as the film progresses. There is loneliness, conflict in these space journeys.
Looking to see how Robert will do as Batman. In space no one can hear your baby scream.

Joss Whedon's Firefly

I remember watching the Buffy and Angel TV series. There is the Serenity film based on this TV series. You might have seen Marvel Avengers Assemble, Cabin In The Woods, Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Starring Nathan Fillion. This is a boxset cert 12, Fox TV 2002. 5039036016025 Special features include gag reel, behind the scenes, commentary plus more. I shall sell this on eBay. Sci-fi adventure set 500 years in the future. The crew of the Serenity go on various adventures in space. They try to avoid the Alliance and Reavers. I recommend the Rebel Series by Edward Robertson and books by Stephen Baxter. The series kicks off with a battle. Good piece of music. Some comedy as can be expected. There is a wild west theme to it. You might also have enjoyed Red Dwarf. The first disc has two episodes. It goes straight back to the Menu screen. Though it is in widescreen my dvd player has to be set manually. Adam Baldwin had got into some argument with black feminists on Twitter. The Ambassador is an attractive, sensual woman. Good acting and special effects. N Fillion was great in White Noise 2, Serenity, Buffy and Slither. Currently starring in crime drama Castle. Other Sci-fi westerns Cowboys And Aliens, Back To The Future 3, Westworld, Star Wars. I'm going to download the soundtrack. Region 2. It was cancelled but had gained cult status.

There were some epic trailers

For example there were Jurassic World, Dominion. Seventh Son. A fantasy adventure. Jeff Bridges as Gregory, a witch hunter. I was trying to work out that accent. Ben Barnes is his apprentice Tom. Julianne Moore is Mother Malkin the evil queen. Olivia Williams is Tom's mother. Both she and more star in a Cronenberg film. Kit Harrington features. Impressive special effects. The reviews aren't so great. If you like John Carter, Lord Of The Rings, Hansel And Gretel Witch Hunters, then you should see this. Cert 12. 5053083036263. Universal Studios 2014.
A few good trailers before the film. Teen comedy The Duff, sci-fi sequel Mockingjay Pt 2. Shailene Woodley looks good with short hair. Kate Winslet and Theo James return. Jai Courtney was great in Terminator Genesys. Olivia Spencer, Ray Stephenson, Zoe Kravitz, Miles Teller, Ansel Elgort, Maggie Q and Naomi Watts also star. Cert 12, 5030305518745. Entertainment One 2015. Special features are behind the scenes, commentary and gallery. Following on from the first film. Tris is on the run from faction leader Jeanine. She and Four are on a mission to find the truth about the past and determine what the future will be. Read the books, see the films in The Divergent Series. A great cast of actors. Nice special effects. Soundtrack worth downloading. You might like The Giver, The Breakers Series, The Walking Dead, The Maze, The Hunger Games, The Divide, Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes.

Cert 15, 5055744700681. There are a variety of special features. Hammer Films 2014. I was quite tired from work and fell asleep. The different chapters on the 'making of' cover the same topics. Phoebe Fox, Jeremy Irvine, Helen McCrory, Adrian Rawlins, Leanne Best, Ned Dennery. See the Amazon reviews.

Chappie, a sci-fi film from the makers of District 9 and Elysium. You might like RoboCop, Humans, Terminator, Robotropolis, The Machine, Short Circuit, Ex Machina, I Robot. In South Africa a robot police force is introduced. A good cast of actors such as Sharlto Copley, Dev Patel, Hugh Jackman and Sigourney Weaver. Cert 15. 5050630638512. Columbia Pictures 2015. A robot named Chappie is stolen and reprogrammed. He develops a personality. Special features- cast discuss experiences on the set. The robot voice sounds like Peter Weir. Possible connections between previous films. Contains drama and violence. Neil Blohkamp directs. Music by Hans Zimmer. It's a good film. Interesting soundtrack. I recommend this film.
