Cast list off Wikipedia: Margot Robbie as Harleen Quinzel / Harley Quinn: A former-certified psychiatrist, who became a crazed criminal and the Joker's accomplice/girlfriend, and later a part of the Suicide Squad. She has since cut ties with the Joker after the pair broke up.[8] Screenwriter Christina Hodson sought to reinvent Harley, wanting to expand on the character following her departure from the Joker's company.[9] Hodson called Harley the character she enjoyed developing most due to her unpredictable personality.[10] Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Helena Bertinelli / The Huntress: A vigilante who is the orphaned daughter of gangster Franco Bertinelli. Ella Mika portrays a young Helena, during flashback scenes. Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Dinah Lance / Black Canary A vigilante with the metahuman ability of hypersonic screams, which she inherited genetically from her mother. She is a singer in a club that Sionis owns. Smollett-Bell described Dinah as "disenfranchised and disconnected from the world," and someone who "doesn’t really want to have anything to do with crime fighting or being a good-doer, which is so against her nature because we know Dinah to be all heart." The actress added she became a fan of Black Canary by playing with the character in the video game Injustice 2, which also influenced how she physically portrayed the depiction of the hypersonic screams. Rosie Perez as Renee Montoya: An alcoholic, cynical detective in the Gotham City Police Department (GCPD), who is building a case against Sionis. Chris Messina as Victor Zsasz: A deranged mob killer and henchman of Sionis who carves a tally mark on his skin for each victim he claims. Ella Jay Basco as Cassandra Cain: A young girl who has a contract placed upon her head by Sionis after she steals a valuable diamond from him. Ali Wong as Ellen Yee: Montoya's ex-girlfriend and a Gotham City district attorney. Ewan McGregor as Roman Sionis / Black Mask: A brutal and iron-fisted crime lord who threatens Cassandra and Harley. McGregor described the character as "an absolute narcissist." Birds Of Prey from DC. It is long film. Comic book drama. Right wing males were most likely triggered by it. Margot and Jurnee look hot. Good humour, action, acting, soundtrack and effects. Can't fault the film. Strong female leads. Ewan is great as Black Mask. Camp but equally menacing. I wondered if he and his sidekick had a relationship. There is a Suicide Squad 2 out later. Don't forget Joker. Harley has split up with the Joker. She wants to make it on her own. Causing mayhem in Gotham. She is wanted by various people. Roman is after a diamond which belonged to a crime family. Cass is a pickpocket that gets into this mess. Dinah Lance works at Roman's club. Huntress is on a vendetta. See the mixture of colour used in the film to go with the theme. There is the Harley Quinn show that the Legends Of Podcasting had been reacting too. Ali Wong is also in the film. The last thing I saw with Rosie Perez was White Men Can't Jump. Seeing her nipples. She plays this policewoman that is working on a case against Roman. Worth checking out.

Joker starring Joaquin Pheonix as Arthur Fleck. He is a performance artist/clown. Getting work however he can. He has mental health issues. Lives at home with his mother. Story is set in 1980s Gotham. This is one hell of an origin story. Each actor that played the villain has made the role his own. There are cringe moments that is because of how Arthur behaves in some scenes. With his laugh he is to stand out of the crowd. A few shocks and surprises are in store. I like the relationship he has with his mother. A great cast of actors. Phoenix is phenomenonal. You should see his other films. Robert DeNiro is a chat show host that Arthur idolises. About 2 hours runtime. A dark thriller drama. I like the soundtrack. I will look at trivia and discussions. I hope that he reprises his role in The Batman. Interesting to see where the mean streak starts. Becoming an anarchist symbol. These characters might be compared to real life people. Joaquin has lost weight for this role.

The Grudge 2020. A horror remake. I believe that it acknowledged the older films. Sam Raimi was also involved in the making of this. I had not recognised Andrea Riseborough. I kept thinking that it was Anne Heche. Lin Shaye, John Cho also star. It does a few flashbacks. Tells the stories of victims of this curse. How they are all connected. I like the end credits song. Nice how there is silence during the credits. Good effects and jump scares. I was hoping for more graphic violence. You have a business woman that visited the haunted house in Japan. She needed to get back to the US. There is the young couple expecting a baby. Married pensioners getting a visit from a support worker. The main protagonist is a police woman. She has a son. They have only moved to the area. She partners up with the local detective. There is the haunted house which she decides to investigate. I wasn't sure what to expect with remakes. I am a horror fan. I have just watched Stephen King's Doctor Sleep. It is the sequel to The Shining. Ewan McGregor, Rebecca Ferguson and other fine actors. Nice special effects, cinematography, soundtrack and acting. A creepy horror. Mr King would be proud. Danny is now a grown man. Still carrying his special gift. Homeless and has a drink problem. In another part of the country are a group of individuals. Also gifted. They have had long lives. They feed on children. Stealing their essence. References are made to the first film. They wanted to do it in Kubrick's style. It is a long film, over 2 hours. I recommend that you see this movie. I enjoyed many of Stephen King's books. One girl named Abra has powers and Danny must get to her before the villains do. I am going to look at the trivia and discussions. Rebecca is hot as always. Cast. Ewan McGregor. as Danny Torrance. Rebecca Ferguson. as Rose the Hat. Kyliegh Curran. as Abra. Having watched the recent series. The finale was great. Sacha Dhawan and Jodie Whittaker shined. Nice origin story and twists. Lone Cyberman was a good villain.

I am currently watching The Flash and Legends Of Tomorrow. I started season one of CW Constantine. Stars Matt Ryan as the master of the dark arts. Good actors, special effects and story. John spent time in a mental health hospital. He had lost a young girl Astra to a demon. Legends tackles that story in season 5. He has to go help a young woman named Luv who's life is in danger. He is a good character. I saw the movie, animation and read the Hellraiser comics.

Gemini Man is a SciFi thriller starring Will Smith, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Benedict Wong, Clive Owen. Good soundtrack. Nice special effects and filming locations. The opening scene is impressive where the hitman Henry is on a hillside. Sniper aimed at a target sat on a moving train. He wants to go into retirement. The head of the DIA doesn't want to let him go so easily. A new breed of soldier is sent to hunt him down. Henry is on the run with a few friends by his side. Good acting. Props to the body double and stuntmen. You do feel sorry for Junior. Nice dialogue. I recommend that you watch this film. I rented three horror DVDs from the library. Zombieland Double Tap starring Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, Woody Harrelson, Abigail Breslin, Luke Wilson, Rosario Dawson, Zoey Deutch.
Released in 2019. You might like the soundtrack. Madison is hot. Abigail has a nice rack. The stars of the first movie are back. The zombies have evolved. The team first head for the White House. They meet Madison along the way. Little Rock wants space and so runs away. The team go after her as the world isn't safe. We meet Berkeley and his hippy buddies. Nevada and friends live at what seems to be an Elvis museum. Good humour and action. A good cast of actors. Nice pop culture references. Some gruesome scenes. You should see the movie if you haven't already. From the makers of Deadpool and Venom.

Snatchers is a horror comedy. You might like this if you enjoyed Slither, Gremlins, Critters, Splinter. A teen at high school has sex with an on/off boyfriend. She finds that she is pregnant within a day. An alien is on the loose. Causing chaos. Gory scenes. The best friend Hayley is annoying. Good effects and cast of actors. Check out the soundtrack. Bonus features are included. Cast. Mary Nepi. Gabrielle Elyse. J.J. Nolan. Austin Fryberger. Nick Gomez. Rich Fulcher. Ashley Argota. Amy Landecker.

Little Monsters is a comedy horror filmed in Australia. Opening scene had couple Dave and Sara arguing. Good job to the actors and writer. They are going through a difficult patch. Sara has nice tits. Dave's sister is nice as is the kindergarten teacher. There is a US base where experiments have been taking place. A virus outbreak occurs. Dave's nephew wasn't so clear I had to turn the volume up. The class joined by Dave go on a trip to see a children's entertainer. You might like Cooties. Good actors. Special mention to the zombies and children. Gore, violence, swearing. America would have censored a lot of this film. Lupita sure then sing. Lupita Nyong'o. Miss Caroline. Alexander England. Delivery

I am watching The Courier. The audio descriptive subtitles automatically came on. A thriller. I don't tend to watch many of these. A good cast of actors. Attractive women. I feel that Amit Shah is typecast as this weak character. A crime boss is under house arrest awaiting trial. There is a key witness named Nick that is a target. Set in New York and London. Quite a few night shots. Good soundtrack. An unknown courier is delivering a package to the Interpol agents. There is Agent Bryant that is slightly unhinged. It is a fight for survival.
Plenty of action and twists. Contains violence, gore and swearing. Cert 18.
