Stephen King's It Chapter One. A horror film based on the best selling novel. I had seen the old film and so hoped this version would be different. It is. Nice special effects. Such a great cast of actors. Bill and the child actors did good. Set in 1989 Derry. People have been going missing. A supernatural force is responsible. You have a group of friends having just finished for the summer holidays. One by one they are targeted by Pennywise the clown. They all have their daily share of problems. Beverly is pretty, she reminded me of a young Molly Ringwald. I will be watching Chapter Two. Take a look at IMDb trivia. Mixed soundtrack. Fresh take on a classic. It Chapter Two is the sequel to the earlier story. Set 27 years later. The Loser Club are grown up. Pennywise is back and feeding again. They have a reunion in Derry. They have to finish what they started. Great cast of actors. Nice little references and a cameo. Good special effects. Contains humour like with the last film. I will be looking at trivia and discussions. Great scares and shocking scenes.

The Invisible Man is a horror film from Blumhouse. Elizabeth Moss stars as Cecilia. I watched her in US. Her partner is a scientist/inventor. He is very abusive. She hatches a plan to leave him. Weeks later she is staying with friends. Her sister visits. They get the news that Adrian is dead. His brother Tom is a lawyer as is her sister. A lot of money is left to her. She suffers from PTSD. Something is not quite right. I like how the film is leaving the audience to decide as to whether Adrian has become invisible, he is a ghost or Cecilia is crazy. Plenty of suspense. Especially with those camera shots. Good acting and soundtrack. Some people moaned that everything was revealed in the trailer. James the cop has a nice body. Good special effects. Anyhow make sure to check this out.

A former-certified psychiatrist, who became a crazed criminal and the Joker's accomplice/girlfriend, and later a part of the Suicide Squad. She has since cut ties with the Joker after the pair broke up.[8] Screenwriter Christina Hodson sought to reinvent Harley, wanting to expand on the character following her departure from the Joker's company.[9] Hodson called Harley the character she enjoyed developing most due to her unpredictable personality.[10]
Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Helena Bertinelli / The Huntress:
A vigilante who is the orphaned daughter of gangster Franco Bertinelli.
Ella Mika portrays a young Helena, during flashback scenes.
Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Dinah Lance / Black Canary
A vigilante with the metahuman ability of hypersonic screams, which she inherited genetically from her mother. She is a singer in a club that Sionis owns. Smollett-Bell described Dinah as "disenfranchised and disconnected from the world," and someone who "doesn’t really want to have anything to do with crime fighting or being a good-doer, which is so against her nature because we know Dinah to be all heart." The actress added she became a fan of Black Canary by playing with the character in the video game Injustice 2, which also influenced how she physically portrayed the depiction of the hypersonic screams.
Rosie Perez as Renee Montoya:
An alcoholic, cynical detective in the Gotham City Police Department (GCPD), who is building a case against Sionis.
Chris Messina as Victor Zsasz:
A deranged mob killer and henchman of Sionis who carves a tally mark on his skin for each victim he claims.
Ella Jay Basco as Cassandra Cain:
A young girl who has a contract placed upon her head by Sionis after she steals a valuable diamond from him.
Ali Wong as Ellen Yee:
Montoya's ex-girlfriend and a Gotham City district attorney.
Ewan McGregor as Roman Sionis / Black Mask:
A brutal and iron-fisted crime lord who threatens Cassandra and Harley. McGregor described the character as "an absolute narcissist."
Birds Of Prey from DC. It is long film. Comic book drama. Right wing males were most likely triggered by it. Margot and Jurnee look hot. Good humour, action, acting, soundtrack and effects. Can't fault the film. Strong female leads. Ewan is great as Black Mask. Camp but equally menacing. I wondered if he and his sidekick had a relationship. There is a Suicide Squad 2 out later. Don't forget Joker.
Harley has split up with the Joker. She wants to make it on her own. Causing mayhem in Gotham. She is wanted by various people. Roman is after a diamond which belonged to a crime family. Cass is a pickpocket that gets into this mess. Dinah Lance works at Roman's club. Huntress is on a vendetta. See the mixture of colour used in the film to go with the theme. There is the Harley Quinn show that the Legends Of Podcasting had been reacting too. Ali Wong is also in the film. The last thing I saw with Rosie Perez was White Men Can't Jump. Seeing her nipples. She plays this policewoman that is working on a case against Roman. Worth checking out.
