The Tourist 2010 Johnny Depp, Angelina Jolie, Paul Bettany, Timothy Dalton

A thriller with a hint of comedy, in Europe. The trailer looked good with the Muse song Map Of The Problematique. Starlight is played during the end credits. The bad guys seem to be poor at shooting. Great shots of Venice and other locations. Like a Bond film. I'm selling this on Amazon. Elise is a glamorous English woman. Constantly being followed by special services. There is Reginald Shaw, played by Steven Berkoff. He was in an Indiana Jones film. They're after man of mystery Alexander Pierce. The soundtrack isn't bad. Some clever moments like piecing a burnt letter together to read the message. Look at the discussions after seeing this. Cert 12 5055201812001. You might like The Cold Light Of Day, The Two Faces Of January. Does reveal things too soon. Frank is an American math teacher on holiday. He gets caught up in the hoohah. Jolie's accent I'm not sure about. Did the accent in Tomb Raider. Nice eyes but not attracted to her. Spyglass Entertainment. Fascinating having the airport near water. The hospitality staff were very professional. Extras: behind the scenes footage, outtakes, commentary, interview. Julian Fellows was the screenwriter. Good insight into the making of the film. I hope you see this dvd.

Filum

iconCert PG. 2014 Disney. 8717418432249. You might like Jack The Giant Slayer, Oz: The Great And Powerful, Snow White & The Huntsman. This is fantasy adventure. Based on the Sleeping Beauty story. It stars Angelina Jolie as the villian, Maleficent. Also stars Sharlto Copely, Elle Fanning, Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton, Juno Temple, Lesley Manville. Directed by Robert Stromberg. I have a Jolie film for sale as part of a bulk listing. This is a prequel/retelling of how Maleficent became evil. There are two kingdoms. One is where the humans live. The others are the moors where the mythical creatures reside. It begins with Janet McTeer narrating. We join a young fairy named Maleficent. It's given a sprinkling of Disney magic. Aurora is the princess aka sleeping beauty. A young boy named Stefan had stolen something from the forest. There is a love story. Heavy on the special effects. The King has declared war. Maleficent must protect the moors. A curse is placed upon the infant Aurora. She finds herself torn between the two kingdoms. Good effects and acting. Thistletwit is nice. There is a crow that changes to human form, he works as her assistant. The strange cheekbones on Jolie are down to make up. The story spans 30 odd years. The pixies are to look after Aurora. Dramatic scenes and music. The baby, toddler, child actors are cute. There are amusing moments. See the Amazon reviews. Be sure to purchase my eBook. Full cast list; http://m.imdb.com/title/tt1587310/fullcredits/cast?ref_=m_ttfc_3 Some rreviews talk of a lesbian subtext. But that's just wishful thinking. Surprisingly there are femslash blogs based on this film. Fan fiction is kind of sad.
G2Pictures 2011 presents a gory violent horror. Creatures are similar to vampires/zombies. Reminded of 28 Days Later and 30 Days Of Night. The trailers shown feature Husk which I'm selling as well as this. An indie film. The disc and case are in good condition. You might've seen Offspring, The Hills Have Eyes, Cheynobyl Diaries, REC, Evidence, Triangle, Diary Of The Dead, I Am Legend. Amber is the protagonist. Special features are trailers which is lame. Amber works at a butchers. There are opening shots of her running in a field. She is hanging out with friends at Ray's house. Her friend Suzy invited her out. She is on the look out for an apartment in the city. She is joined by Peter and a curly haired guy with glasses named Eric. Suzy is attractive as is Amber. A guy and girl were at the house, Ray and Fiona. Ambers' mum is a drinker. Dustin is an estate agent and he needs the money soon. She is desperate. The friends go on a trip together. Unfortunately the car breaks down. Luckily a truck driver has pulled up. Famfield is the town they are leaving. On their way to Chicago. Bernard the driver seems to have taken a detour. At an abandoned warehouse something nasty lurks in the dark. These monsters sure move quickly. Leaping and flying. Like Spider-Man. There is no infection once bitten. Good special effects and acting from all the cast. I hope you check this out.
Studio Canal Ltd 2014 Bonus content: Making of, deleted scenes, extended scenes, trailer. 5055201825629. From Richard Ayoade director of Submarine and actor in The It Crowd, Garth Merenghi's Darkplace. Presented by Film4 and BFI. This is a comedy about Simon. An office worker doing a 9 to 5 job. He is overworked and underpaid. He has a thing for a girl at work, Hannah played by Mia Wasikowska. She was great in the film Tracks. It's a dark and quirky film judging by the trailer. A new co worker James has arrived. He is exactly like Simon. Absolutely ridiculous the scenarios he gets in. Like on the train, he is in someone else's seat. But the rest of the carriage is empty. The security guard is rude to him. Jesse's best film might be The Social Network. Other gems of his are Now You See Me, 30 Minutes Or Less, Skateland, Zombieland. It's seemingly quite and mundane. You should see The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty, The Grand Budapest Hotel. He has just met the bosses daughter Mel who I think is an emo. Some strange props. A soundtrack is eclectic. I quite like two of the songs. I might download them. Chris O'Dowd, Chris Morris, James Fox appear in this film. As does Paddy Considine in the Dark place style tv show The Replicator. James is confident, popular. Simon is shy, quiet, weird and overlooked. Nice little lecture on what is gay. He soon is trying to take over Simon's life. See the reviews. I'd see the discussions and theories on the story only once it's finished. Based on the novel by Fyodor Dostoyevsky. A good cast of actors and nice special effects.

GIANTmicrobes
Stars Jesse Rosenberg as Nick, a pizza delivery guy. His best mate, teacher Chet aka Aziz Ansari is with him on this crazy day. Chet's sister, an Indian named Kate (Dilshad Vadsaria) is who Nick is in love with. You have Dwayne- Danny McBride and Travis- Nick Swardson that want to get into business together. Bianca Kajlich is a stripper named Juicy. I hoped her tits would be nicer. She is hot. See her in Rules Of Engagement. Micheal Pena is a hitman hired by Dwayne to off the Major dad. A bomb is strapped to Nick and he has less than a day to get 100 thousand dollars. A funny film from the makers of Zombieland. Reminds me of Pineapple Express. A good soundtrack. You might like spoof film Your Highness. Special features are outtakes, deleted scenes and a making of documentary. 5050630077434 cert 15. Columbia 2011. Not sure of the town. Hardly any traffic about. The Double is out now on dvd. I also recommend You See Me Now. Please share my blog post. Entry To Snibston For A Family Of Four

A horror DVD released by After Dark. 2010 cert 18. 5060255690093. An indie movie. I'm selling this on Amazon (solitarymaninblack). There are a few trailers for Fertile Ground, Prowl, The Task. Those films remind me of Insidious, Saw, 30 Days Of Night, 28 Days Later. Signature Sent and G2pictures do release some good horror films. Annabelle is in cinemas now. Cast are Devon Graye, Wes Chatham, CJ Thomason, Tammin Sursok. Special features are just trailers. 80 mins run time. Looking at the case I was thinking of Jeepers Creepers. You might want to see my other blog posts regarding films. A few friends are in a car driving along the open road. All of a sudden they're attacked by crows. Imagine The Birds, Resident Evil. They're now on a farm. There is Johnny, Brian, Chris, Nat and Scotty. One of the gang has gone missing. There is a farmhouse nearby. See the film, Scarecrow, Seventh Moon, Skinwalkers, The New Daughter. I'm using the Blogger app. See the reviews. There is a supernatural force hiding out in the corn fields. An unseen enemy like in Predator. Contains strong violence and gore. A creepy atmosphere. Good production values. Often these cast members are in tv shows. A slasher element to it too. Meetupsometime.co.uk Suspense and twists galore. A good cast of actors. I recommend this film. Admiringthefemaleform.com More DVDs available now.

The Betty White Collection

The discs and case are in good condition. Region free, black & white. 683904524256 2011 Mill Creek Entertainment. 40 episodes on 4 discs. Life With Elizabeth and Date With The Angels. It's her earlier work. See her Golden Girls DVDs. She did an episode of SNL. She is still around today. NTSC full screen. The biographies of the golden era celebs are fascinating. The DVD was posted from USA. Took a while to get here. Filmed in front of a studio audience. The show had won her first Emmy. 1st episode Elizabeth is at home miserable. Her husband gets home and must listen to her problems. There is the narrator Jack Narz introducing each scene. Next we have Elizabeth come back from a date with Alvin. This was filmed in the 1950s. I enjoyed looking at the Buster Keaton, Charlie Chaplin, Laurel & Hardy DVDs. I also recommend Mata Hari starring Greta Garbo. Life With Elizabeth is a sitcom. A different story each time. Regular cast members. Hasn't been remastered. Grainy footage. Episodes are short. A talented comic actress. Del Moore plays Alvin. This won't be to everyone's taste. Not really laugh out loud funny. It was the by product of it's era. The housewife would've done as she was told. The narrator always asks "Elizabeth are you ashamed?" What is that about? Good timing. The hypnosis part where Alvin is a lighthouse was original but weird. I think it was a weekly show. There is also a documentary on the DVD. I'm selling this on Ebay. Shot in one take. The scene with the debt collection letter was sinister. Some of the jokes are shit, that's Americans for you. The trousers are high. Alvin's tie was tucked into his trousers. The audience are laughing at anything. Charlotte Lawrence plays a few characters with a strange accent. Often hilarity ensues due to misunderstandings. It also got me thinking about racial segregation and white america was looking perfect but for the black community it was not. I'm not really concentrating on certain scenes. Just fiddling with my phone. The editing is buggered as it is old footage. One episode the couple are looking at a tv. There is a live telecast. Something weird about the tv set. Elizabeth laughs at her own jokes. The scenes mostly end with the characters argueing then the narrator stops them.

The writer was male. The doting housewife doing the cleaning, cooking, ironing, getting the husbands things ready, doing as he says. Modern feminists would not like this. I'm glad things have changed. There was recently a celebrity death hoax, which I think is vile. Now watching black and white 1957 sitcom Date With The Angels. Another husband Gus and wife Vicky. Canned laughter/studio audience. As the opening credits play. The sponsors are given a mention, Plymouth cars. Merv is his neighbour, we also meet his lover Cassie Murphy. Bill Williams is a regular. The couple had been arguing with Mr Simmons and Mr Finlay. Vicky and Gus Angel must play peace keeper. These shows will be new to my generation and younger folk. Merv reminds me of Fred Flinstone. Simmons is grey, old and balding. His son Finlay is bald with dark hair. Wears glasses. He is a professor of psychology. Both are well dressed gentlemen. Merv is middle aged with stocky build. Cassie is a confident woman with dark hair. Unsure if there may have been previous episodes. Gus's boss has come to dinner. There is a good discussion about sexism. I didn't really think much to this episode. Betty White introduces each episode. George Tibbles is the writer and producer of both shows. In one episode nephew Wheeler comes to stay. He's from the countryside. Odd looking, an idiot at times. Good acting from all the cast. The Angels go to the circus. There's a nice scene with the fortune teller. The listing goes live soon. Why not have a look at other listings. An african american waiter on the train. He is also an actor ofcourse. He was not credited. I searched and found the name Gus Constance. One of the place mats fell off the table. Carl happens to admire other women, making Dorothy jealous. An earlier episode featured George a soon to be father, his wife once in labour is quite calm. The nurse on reception is slow and annoying.

Watch this

I am watching What We Did On Our Holiday. Stars David Tennant, Rosamund Pike, Billy Connelly. It looked good from the trailer. A BBC Films production. 2015 release. 5055761904215 cert 12. The little girl Jess seems adorable. She has two stones called Eric and Norman. There is the older sister and middle brother Micky. The family are going to Scotland. A road trip movie. You might enjoy Boyhood. Fans of Outnumbered will enjoy this. Nice scenery. The volume needs turning up to get what they're saying. The soundtrack is interesting. Special features: interviews, commentary and deleted scenes. Some of the dialogue doesn't seem interesting. Some strong subjects discussed in front of the kids. A comedy drama. There is a pretty girl that plays the violin. Billy Connelly is actually dying of cancer. Fisherman's Blues

I saw the trailers for The Theory Of Everything and Seventh Son. I will watch those two upon DVD release. It'd be hard not to fall in love with Felicity Jones. Seventh Son is like LOTR, Clash Of The Titans. It's a fantasy film. I am watching Dracula Untold. Well trying to and her downstairs is rambling to herself. I keep getting Wi-Fi updates. 2014 Universal Pictures 5053083022839. Cert 15 action adventure retelling of the Count Dracula story. Listening to the accents. They are at war with the Turks. Good special effects. An epic battle scene. Dramatic soundtrack. Worth checking out. See the Amazon reviews.

I am watching MALCOLM X directed by Spike Lee and stars Denzel Washington. It's a biography drama. Filmed in 1992. Interesting cinematography, costumes and great acting from the cast. You might have seen 12 Years A Slave. Selma is out in cinemas now. Another good film is The Butler. See Spike's other film Bamboozled. Richard Attenborough's Ghandi is an epic film. I recommend a book called I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings by Maya Angelou. Also read Long Walk To Freedom by Nelson Mandela. Spike Lee also stars in the film.
CD Universe - Find New Release Music CDs by Music Artist, Studio Label or Music Album Title
I have rented Before I Go To Sleep starring Nicole Kidman as a woman suffering from amnesia. Everyday this happens to her. Mark Strong plays a doctor that tries to help her regain her memory. Colin Firth plays her husband. You might like Unknown, The Vow. 5055201826619. In one scene filmed from a field or a park with a view of Greenwich. London is different to how I remember it. I think it must be Windsor. Nice little twists in this thriller. A good cast of actors. Ann Marie Duff also stars. Ridley Scott is a producer. Special features are two interviews, a Q&A and trailer. There is some nudity from Kidman. Based on a novel. You should see The Railway Man. Kingsman is out in cinemas now. Movieinsider.com
I had also rented Boyhood which was 12 years in the making. The same cast ageing over time. Focuses on the young lad. Ethan Hawks plays his father. Patricia Arquette has a cracking rack. The little sister is annoying. Imagine what the cast will be feeling when they watch the film back. A variety of songs reflecting the time period. The kids add the comedy. Hawke's character seems annoying in the first few minutes. He was a child actor, see Explorers. Some adlibbing in the scenes like Outnumbered. The kids did get to have fun whilst filming. Interesting seeing the changes in the appearance of the cast especially the females. Pays homage to different things. Some hot women in later scenes. Ellar Coltrane and Lorelei Linklater have done other films. See the Amazon and Cduniverse search boxes. Mason reminds me of Taylor Lautner. 2 hr 39 m run time. 2014 Universal.

TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION
Paramount 2014, 5014437195142 cert 12. Directed by Michael Bay. Sci-fi film based on the Hasbro toys. This is the fourth instalment. Stars Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammar and others.
With the opening scene you see an armada of ships heading towards the Earth. It's in the prehistoric era. In the modern day a discovery is made in the Arctic. Over in Texas is where Cade Yeager lives. His daughter Tessa (Nicola Peltz) is pretty, has a nice body. After Chicago the Autobots are no longer needed. The city is a wreck. There are a few hot girls in this. The trailer was good. This film is set five years after the last one. Visually impressive. There is an alien called Lockdown looking for Optimus Prime. Humans are hunting the Autobots and Decepticons. Take a look at the customer reviews. Some cheesy moments. There is a company called KSI in Chicago. The MD is Mr. Joyce. They have plans for the future. There are no bonus features. Galvatron and the Dinobots also feature. John Goodman voices one of the Autobots. Worth checking out. You might also like Pacific Rim, Robotropolis.
EARTH TO ECHO
There are some interesting trailers before the main feature. One being The 100 Foot Journey. Tarzan might do well. This film has been labelled as ET for a new generation. It's a PG cert sci-fi. 2014 RML. 5055744700568. You might also like The Last Mimzy, Super 8, Chronicle, Explorers, Batteries Not Included, E.T The Extra Terrestrial. Extras: making of and deleted scenes. Three friends Tuck, Munch and Alex are filming a little video. Uploading to YouTube. A new freeway is being built. Houses are demolished. It was their last week together. The phones are playing up. The town is in Nevada. The soundtrack is good. Nice use of the internet and mobile tech. As would happen with youngsters today. I'll take a look at the reviews. There is a piece of music that plays with a certain I ident. From Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves. Nice little line from Alex in the canteen. Emma is a blonde girl that they like. Shot in found footage/POV style. The boys go on a trip to locate the source of the signal. A small alien, quite like an owl. It needs the boys' help to return home. Out to rent/buy now. I have a few DVDs and books for sale on Amazon. See the seller Solitarymaninblack. A good cast and impressive special effects. I hope you get a chance to see this.

So many films to look forward to next year http://www.movieinsider.com/movies/-/2015/
There where some good trailers for family comedy from the makers of Outnumbered called What We Did On Our Holiday. Another was a spoof romcom with most of the cast from SNL called They Came Together. Also the new Hunger Games film is out in cinemas now.

I'm watching Chef. It was written, directed by and starring Jon Favreau. He plays Carl Casper a chef at a fancy LA restaurant owned by manager Dustin Hoffman. His ex-wife Inez is played by the lovely Sofia Vergara. John Leguizamo plays his friend Martin. Son is Emjay Anthony, other cast members include Robert Downey Jr, Scarlett Johansson, Oliver Platt, Bobby Cannavale, Amy Sedaris. Cert 15, 2014, 5055761903348. I've worked in hospitality and catering for a while now. See my other posts. I've met various chefs.

The film has a mixed soundtrack it seems. Some latino, reggae, hip hop, jazz tracks. The opening scene is of Carl preparing some food. Jon Favreau perhaps enjoyed cooking. Would have picked up some tips from celebrity chefs. There is a food critic that's coming to the restaurant. His friend has just delivered the pig. Tony is a fellow chef suffering from a hangover. He picks up his son Percy. They were to go to the cinema but pop needs to pick up ingredients. Some of you may have watched Master chef, Come Dine With Me, Kitchen Nightmares, Man Vs Food, Michell Roux's Service. Riva the manager is controlling and gets into an argument with Carl. Molly is the front of house staff, a sommelier/bartender. Idmb for full cast. A good scene when Carl is reading the online blog regarding their restaurant. Some additional characters and extras are featured. Twitter gets a mention. Social networking was mentioned in an interview on Sunday Brunch. I wound up in trouble because of it. Carl signs up. Various tweets are talking about that review. Carl has a scathing response to all the criticism. A mistake some new users make. People lose jobs, wind up in jail by posting things online. Plenty of stupid arguments in the YouTube comments section. A character named Ramsey Michell, he's the food blogger. He eventually quits the job and runs a food truck. The restaurant is overbooked. This becomes a road trip film. A great cast of actors. Sofia looks stunning and sounds sexy. Downey Jr is businessman Marvin. No bonus features. I recommend this film.

Other Jon Favreau films are The Big Empty, Made, Iron Man, Swingers, Avengers Assemble. See his appearance in the TV show Friends.
See the trailer.

A film based on the graphic novel All You Need Is Kill. I recommend Triangle, Repeaters, 12:01, Groundhog Day, About Time. Warner Bros 2014. Cert 12. Sci fi. 5051892163507. Stars Tom Cruise as Major William Cage, a man sent into a war. He is forced to relive the same day repeatedly. Emily Blunt is Rita Vrataski, a warrior that trains with him. An alien race had attacked Earth. Some bonus features are included. Oblivion was good. Also see Looper. The soldiers are equipt with special suits. See Elysium. Opening footage is of news reports. Brian Gleeson is a General in the army. He is met in London by Cage. The Major is sent to France as the aliens named 'Mimics' have invaded much of Europe. The United Defence Force are going to war. William is reluctant to go. Bill Paxton plays a Sergeant. Cage is not much of a soldier yet has the rank of Major. Impressive effects. The laser beams gun shots flow in a weird way. The alien design is unique. There is a good cast. It's amusing at times. Different ways to die. The training sequence is good. Clever editing. Take after take. Soundtrack is ok. I think you'll like this.

Starring Will Ferrell and Zalifianakis play Cam Brady and Marty Higgins. Two opposing political candidates. They're aiming for the North Carolina congressional seat. Cert 15, 2012 Warner Bros, 5051892143325. There is a sketch where Ferrell impersonates George W Bush. I recommend The Ides Of March, Everything Must Go, It's Kind Of A Funny Story, Due Date. This is a comedy. Shana (Kate Miner) is the groupie that's quite nice. Can sends her a dirty message but it gets sent to the wrong phone number. Jason Sudeikis is the advisor. He was also in Bad Bosses, We're The Millers, Drinking Buddies. Other cast members are Katherine Lanasa, Dylan McDermott, John Lithgow, Dan Akroyd, Brian Cox, Josh Lawson, Thomas Middleditch, Sarah Baker. You might have seen The Thick Of It, Have I Got News For You for satire. Akroyd and Lithgow play brothers. They're intent on finding a candidate to go against Brady. Marty is a camp man. He has a wife and kids. The maid has to put on an accent. Cox is the father. Southern accents through out. Funny dialogue. A deal is being made with a business in China. Contains shit load of swearing. Cam's wife is nice. Crude humour. The cast are great. Nice confessions from the kids. The youngest one reminds me of Jonah Hill. There must be some outtakes. Marty's advisor Tim is confident, shady. His place and family are given a makeover. The hairdresser had nice tits. The story moves forward a few weeks. Becky (Amelia Jackson-Gray) is a pretty lady in a blue dress, she has a wardrobe malfunction. Nice boob. A shocking baby scene. The Motch brothers remind me of the old guys from Trading Places. This film takes the piss out of republicans and America in general. Nice cheerleaders. Bonus: extended/deleted scenes. It's available on Amazon. See the customer reviews.

Ne-Yo (who i've met once) is in this film. Aaron Eckhart is the main star. This isn't a review just a blog. Aliens make an attack on LA. Us Military stand in their way.

The Adjustment Bureau
Bourne meets Inception. Interesting film. Matt Damon plays Senator David Norris meets Elise (Emily Blunt) the guys that had approached him like Agent Smith in The Matrix trilogy, are in control of what happens to people, possibly angels, time travellers. Checkout Source Code which also has time as a backstory. Also kind of similar to Minority Report. Nice effects. There is a love story alongside sci-fi here. Take a look at the trailer.

Insidious
From the makers of Saw and Paranormal Activity. You may also like Polterguist. The films and the tv series. The house is haunted. Some suprise moments. Do check it out. Paranormal Activity 3 will be out sometime. Eerie moments like you'd get with the Grudge trilogy. I'm watching it now. Will be adding bits. The Ghosthunters add a comedic element to the film. Barbera Hershey is in this film, she was once in The Entity, she looked fantastic naked and looks good now. Rose Byrne (Sunshine, 28 Weeks Later). Lynn Shay (2001 Manics). Another scary film is White Noise, also The Fourth Kind. The song that plays on the record player as Renai takes out the garbage is 'Nurole Bianche' by Ludvico Einaudi. Thanks for reading.

Source Code
If you have seen Groundhog Day, then I recommend this film! You should also see The Jacket, 12:01, The Time Traveller's Wife, Twelve Monkeys, Donnie Darko, The Time Machine, Southland Tales and S.Darko. Jake Gyllenhal does brilliantly. Vera Farmiga and Michelle Monaghan are hot. I like Sci-fi films especially ones with a time travel element. Plenty of suspense, action, comedic moments.

Sucker Punch
An entertaining film not just about the action and special FX. Quite abit about the drama and a philosiphy of life. Switching from reality to fantasy and back through out the film. Emily Browning is great as are all the cast. Some nice twists and turns. Baby Doll is locked in an asylum and wishes to escape. If you like The Matrix, Advancement Bureau, Inception then you will love this. The soundtrack is great punk, metal, trip hop. Out to rent now.

Cert 12, 5051892163767 Warner Bros 2014. Cast: Aaron Taylor Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, Sally Hawkins, David Strathairn, Bryan Cranston. I hope this film is better than the other one starring Mathew Broderick. You may have seen that amongst films like King Kong, Pacific Rim, Transformers, Power Rangers, Skyline, Battleships, Jurassic Park, Monsters, Troll Hunter, Cloverfield. The original Japanese film had been re-released. Jurassic World will be released next year. I have borrowed this from the library. The Amazon customer reviews will convince you on whether to buy this or not. Starts off in The Philippines in 1999. A scientist is travelling by helicopter to an excavation site. A fossil is discovered. Onto Janjira, Japan. I'd like to see cert 18 type films which feature creatures like this. An american family lives in Japan. They work for a company of sorts. There is a nuclear reactor on site. The engineer has been following the tremors. It's his birthday. You have a variety of characters that get to deal with this situation. Ford is the kid, now a grown man with a family in San Fransisco. Wife Elle and son Sam. Story follows on 15 years later. Ford has headed off to Tokyo to meet his father. Ford moved on from the disaster. His father Joe is a troubled man and wants to prove it was no accident. They head back to their old home in the quarantine zone to fetch some files. The government are up to something. It's hard to hear the dialogue when the characters are on the phone, behind glass or wearing helmets. It'll be interesting to see the discussions on Godzilla. There are emps being given off by the creatures. It's a strange looking beast. They feed off radiation. Good origin story. Monarch is a company working in secret. I don't like how the creatures are hidden by the dark. Not enough fighting between the monsters. Mutos are the other creatures. All around the world. Some what are the odds of people getting reunited. Good acting and special effects. Special features have two making of segments. A Whole New Level Of Destruction: behind the scenes. The effects created when it comes to disasters. Shooting on location. They wanted to keep it authentic. So many extras. Ancient Enemy: The M.U.T.O.s: Creating the creatures. Storyboard art, the thought process behind them. Sound effects. Directed by Gareth Edwards. You might want to check this out.
