Ana suffered from a disease that makes her addicted to human blood. Perhaps a cannibal or vampire. Une Heure De Tranquillite aka Do Not Disturb cert 15. StudioCanal 2014 5055201832481. Subtitled. French film, comedy about a Jazz music fan named Michel. He finds a rare record and hopes to have some time alone to listen to it. But friends, family and neighbours all want some of his time. I recommend Spanish film I'm So Excited and another French film Taxi, American indie The Visitor, Two Days In New York and TV series The Returned, Brit flick with David Tennant What We Did On Our Holiday. Set in Paris. Recent events meaning France will get lots of mention. Great cast of actors.

She will change and Wade wants to spend as much time with her as he can. You might like The Walking Dead, The Stranger, The New Daughter, Z Nation, Extinction, World War Z. Cert 15, 5053083037697 Universal Pictures 2014. It is more a drama. Slow moving. Something different for Arnie to be involved in. Normalises the horror genre. See how the people deal with living in a post apocalyptic world. The change from human to monster. How the infection is just like any other disease eg ebola, cancer etc. The music may be worth downloading.

Minions: A prequel to Despicable Me. Cert U. Universal Studios 2014. 5053083046910. This is a rental copy from the library. Stars Sandra Bullock, Jon Hamm, Michael Keaton, Allison Janey, Steve Coogan, Jennifer Saunders, Geoffrey Rush. Bonus are three mini shorts. Stuart, Kevin and Bob are on a journey. They look for a new employer. They met various people along the way. One being Supervillain Scarlet Overkill. No sound at first but that is due to the DVD player or disc. Got it sorted. An origin story. Good humour. Good soundtrack. Superb animation and attention to detail. Another brilliant job the company have done with this film.

Ashley Tisdale from High School Musical plays Jessica Chastain's character, Jodie. Her boyfriend Dan is the man from the previous Scary Movies. Pregnancy Iphone app called Ipreggers. Kate Walsh, Heather Locklear, Mike Tyson, Katt Williams, Katrina Bowden also star. You might like Movie 43. Fab narration by Morgan Freeman (impressionist). There is a film starring Marlon Wayans called A Haunted House. Rise Of Planet Of The Apes is spoofed amongst other films such as Black Swan, Evil Dead, Insidious. The kids are adorable and good actors. Jodie and Dan are adopting Charlie's kids and have moved to a haunted house. Some funny moments. You might read the Amazon customer reviews. It stars Keri Russell is kinda hot. Paranormal Activity 5 should be out this year. Cert 15, the family are terrorised by an unknown force. There is a scifi tv show from the 90s called Dark Skies which you might find online. Saw a trailer for Ender's Game. Child soldiers sent to an intergalactic war. The infected have striking blue eyes. The parasites have been to other planets. Checkout The Invasion, Invasion Of The Body Snatchers, The Thing. Wanderer is the alien within Mel. But her subconsious refuses to go away. The lady in charge is called Seeker. They seem to be calm and non violent. See imdb for full cast. I've also rented Dark Skies. Scary Movie 5 is out to rent at Blockbuster from Monday. Check out the original trilogy and Cabin In The Woods. The Conjuring is in cinemas now. movieinsider.com Mia is trying to kick a drug habit and has to go 'cold turkey'. The Book Of Dead is discovered all Hell breaks loose. Superb acting from the cast especially Jane Levy. Lot's of blood, gore and violence. Sinister and dramatic music. Bruce Campbell was a Producer alongside Sam Raimi. Cert 18. Plenty of special features. Some parts pay homage to the original. Director Fede Alvarez, Writer Rodo Sayagues. Jane Levy will've gained more fans. See her in sitcom Suburgatory. You might also like After Earth, Cargo. From the makers of Tron Legacy and Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes. It's apocalyptic. The red head has a nice body judging by the shower scene. She is English, Andrea Riseborough. Most of humanity has gone to Titan. The year is 2077. Good special effects. In one scene Tom is flying a craft that's reminiscent of Top Gun. Had 2 kids as did another person that I'd been speaking to also had kids which suprised me. There was a part where Ronan Keating's family were having problems. I had read an essay by my brother and made notes on what I thought of it. There was a model of a truck with 2 trailers attached to it. Also had a hook. I was invited to a dinner. I nipped over whilst it was being set up. Mentioning I might not make it as I was invited to a party in Leicester. I did get myself ready and had headed over to the dinner but went to the wrong marquee, table 12: Cambridge was what I was assigned to. I noticed things were different and had spoken to Julian Fellows. I then went to the correct marquee. I thought about staying as I looked at the guests. Left a message and dissapeared. Saw a waitress and explained that I was off. I needed the toilet however there was a queue. I went to another urinal. There were coats hung up near it. As I pissed everywhere, also on the coat. The bloke it belonged to muttered 'bad manners'. All films available here

I am watching The Device. An independent Sci-fi film. On DVD. Mixed reviews on Amazon. Cheaper there too. A young woman has gone to stay with her big sister and her fiance. There mother had recently passed away. At their childhood home a device is found. It has sinister qualities. I questioned the acting. There are so many actors doing theatre, indie films or going for auditions. We only ever hear about the A List celebrities. I am selling this copy on eBay Sept 2015. You might also like The X-Files, Skinwalker Ranch, Dark Skies, The Pheonix Incident, The Fourth Kind, The Outer Limits. The actors are average looking. Nice breasts on the sisters. Antonio Banderas stars in this sci-fi action thriller set in the year 2044. After solar flares damaged the Earth and wiped out the majority of the human population those who survived began to use robots, made by the ROC Corporation, to help them rebuild their lives. The robots are programmed to protect human life and are incapable of altering themselves or their fellow machines in any way. However, when police officer Wallace (Dylan McDermott) reports that he shot a robot because it was modifying itself, ROC insurance investigator Jacq Vaucan (Banderas) comes to believe that there could be a 'clocksmith' who is changing the automata's protocol, allowing them to make alterations. As Jacq investigates further he makes an unlikely ally in the form of altered robot Cleo (voice of Melanie Griffith) and comes to realise who the real enemy is... The film also stars Birgitte Hjort Sørensen, Robert Forster and Tim McInnerny.

The Anomaly Cert 15, Universal Pictures 2014. 5053083001414. This DVD is on sale myworld.eBay.co.UK/Solitarymaninblack soon. Sci-fi thriller starring Ian Somerhalder, Alexis Knapp, Noel Clarke, Luke Hemsworth, Brian Cox. There was me thinking Ian Somerhalder was the protagonist but it is Noel Clarke. The music is pretty good. A former soldier wakes up in a van. He is with a school boy. He has only 9 mins and 47 seconds of consciousness. You might like Open Grave, Edge Of Tomorrow, Surrogates, Quantum Leap, The One. The woman Dana is attractive. Nice body. Noel is in good shape. The fight scenes, choreographed and interesting cinematography. Good nudity in the brothel. Worth seeing the reviews. Ryan never knows where he is going to end up. Tackles the concept of mind control. Directed and produced by Noel Clarke.

A sci-fi drama based on actual events. Found footage style. Signature Entertainment 2015, 5060262853412. Cert 15. Conspiracy theories relate to the incident which happened in 1997. Military involvement, eyewitness accounts, UFOs. It is all covered here. You might like Skinwalker Ranch, The Fourth Kind, The Bay, The Blair Witch Project, District 9, Monsters, Dark Skies, V/H/S. Indie flick which you can expect from Signature. Good special effects and action. You should read The Breakers Series by Edward W Robertson.

Horror from the makers of The Purge and Ouija. Cert 15. Story sounds familiar. A group of friends are being cyberstalked by an unseen figure. A shaming video led to a teenager to kill herself. Shelley Henning, Moses Storm, Renee Olstead, Will Peltz, Jacob Wysocki, Courtney Halverson, Heather Sossaman. Universal Pictures 2015. 5053083045654 There are no bonuses as this is a rental copy. You might like Chatroom, V/H/S, Cyberbully which starred Maisie Williams. I was hoping to see more of the girl's boobs. Skype/webcam chat. Looking at a computer screen. Some stuff typed which I cannot see. It's the private messaging part. I can't zoom on it so have to get up and get closer to the screen. The protagonist or who the audience is following. There is lots of clicking. I can't make head nor tail of what this person is typing or searching for. Seems a load of nothing. The trailer looked good. Jess is hot. It does begin to pick up. Great acting from the cast. Features swearing, violence and some sexual content. I will be looking at forum discussions. See the Amazon customer reviews.

The Duff

Comedy cert 12, 5030305518899. 2015 Cbs Films Inc. Just saw two good trailers before this feature: The Cobbler and The Big Lie.
You may have seen Mean Girls, She's All That, Easy A, Cruel Intentions, Struck By Lightening, The Breakfast Club, Clueless, Saved By The Bell. Bianca is an outsider. She discovered that she has been labelled a DUFF aka Designated Ugly Fat Friend. She befriends Wesley and is enemies with Madison. Cast Mae Whitman, Robbie Amell, Bella Thorne, Bianca Santos, Alison Janney. Miss Thorne is hot. The trailer looked interesting. There are several special features such as gag reel, behind the scenes. I'm sure this will become a cult hit with teens. Bianca has two hot friends. The artistic blonde Jess and the brunette Casey. Ken Jeong also stars. High School doesn't have to be shallow. Glad I grew up in the UK and not US. A good cast of actors. It seems with these teen movies, the character has to change their appearance in order to be accepted. That is just wrong. It is a satrical look at teen life. Reminds me a little of She's The Man. A mixed bag when it comes to a soundtrack.
 

Joss Whedon's Firefly

I remember watching the Buffy and Angel TV series. There is the Serenity film based on this TV series. You might have seen Marvel Avengers Assemble, Cabin In The Woods, Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Starring Nathan Fillion. This is a boxset cert 12, Fox TV 2002. 5039036016025 Special features include gag reel, behind the scenes, commentary plus more. I shall sell this on eBay. Sci-fi adventure set 500 years in the future. The crew of the Serenity go on various adventures in space. They try to avoid the Alliance and Reavers. I recommend the Rebel Series by Edward Robertson and books by Stephen Baxter. The series kicks off with a battle. Good piece of music. Some comedy as can be expected. There is a wild west theme to it. You might also have enjoyed Red Dwarf. The first disc has two episodes. It goes straight back to the Menu screen. Though it is in widescreen my dvd player has to be set manually. Adam Baldwin had got into some argument with black feminists on Twitter. The Ambassador is an attractive, sensual woman. Good acting and special effects. N Fillion was great in White Noise 2, Serenity, Buffy and Slither. Currently starring in crime drama Castle. Other Sci-fi westerns Cowboys And Aliens, Back To The Future 3, Westworld, Star Wars. I'm going to download the soundtrack. Region 2. It was cancelled but had gained cult status.
 

Robot Overlords

A Brit Sci-fi film on DVD now. The soundtrack ain't bad. Sir Ben Kingsley and Gillian Anderson star. Seems a bit ridiculous. The leader of the robots or interface is a simulant dwarf. Cert 12. You might like Robotropolis, The Machine, Humans, How I Live Now, Tomorrow When The War Began, Chappie. The robots have invaded the Earth. Setting a curfew for all humans. This is an independent film. Smythe is a 'Collaborator' a team of folk working for the robots. I can imagine what the Amazon customer reviews will be like. There are special features. Some stunning locations. The teen girl is pretty. Would I recommend this film? I doubt it.

For example there were Jurassic World, Dominion. Seventh Son. A fantasy adventure. Jeff Bridges as Gregory, a witch hunter. I was trying to work out that accent. Ben Barnes is his apprentice Tom. Julianne Moore is Mother Malkin the evil queen. Olivia Williams is Tom's mother. Both she and more star in a Cronenberg film. Kit Harrington features. Impressive special effects. Chappie, a sci-fi film from the makers of District 9 and Elysium. You might like RoboCop, Humans, Terminator, Robotropolis, The Machine, Short Circuit, Ex Machina, I Robot. In South Africa a robot police force is introduced. A good cast of actors such as Sharlto Copley, Dev Patel, Hugh Jackman and Sigourney Weaver. Cert 15. 5050630638512. Columbia Pictures 2015. A robot named Chappie is stolen and reprogrammed. He develops a personality. Special features- cast discuss experiences on the set. The robot voice sounds like Peter Weir. Possible connections between previous films. Contains drama and violence. Neil Blohkamp directs. Music by Hans Zimmer. It's a good film. Interesting soundtrack. I recommend this film.

This is going for sale on eBay/Amazon. In perfect condition. You may like Dead Set, Screenwipe, Black Mirror. Murder investigation in the first one and DCI Cloth is joined by new partner Anne OldMan. Part two there was a bank robbery. Todd Carty cameos. Using the subtitles, sometimes blends in with the background. Originally broadcast on Sky. Ch4 DVD release. You might hear or spot some funny visuals featured briefly. Querishi played by Navin Choudry gives detailed descriptions of the victims as seen in other Cop shows. Contains crude gags, sex, nudity, violence, gore and swearing. Great acting from all members of the cast. I like the tits on the girl in McCratty's club. Strippers doing morris dancing. John Hannah is a brilliant actor, see this, Sliding Doors, The Mummy plus more. Nice soundtrack especially the theme. The third series Terry Cloth, brother of Jack, has been murdered. The suspect is a cult leader. Karen Gillan plays Newblood, a new recruit to the force. Des is a pervy bloke. Nice dialogue when with K Gillan. She was in an episode of Rebus. There's an actress that looks like Felicity Jones. Guvorner Boss is no nonsense with great lines. I'd like to see the bloopers. There are lots of pretty women. I recommend this show to all.

Toby Stephens, Caity Loz, Denis Lawson. Cert 15. 5060020704864 Anchor Bay 2013. In pristine condition. Just out of the shrinking. Watched once. British Sci-fi. You might also like Humans, Ex Machina, Robotropolis, Transcendence, Her, Terminator, Robocop. In the future the world has been plunged into a cold war. The MOD have created a super weapon. Vincent McCarthy is the lead scientist. There is a glitch and the robot goes awol. Intelligence expert Ava comes to help. Download the extra features. A good cast, impressed with the effects. I liked the opening scene. Contains strong violence. See the Amazon review. The blonde Ava at one seminar is hot. She has an impressive body. The machines have a distinct language for communication. Quite creepy. A fitting soundtrack.
I recommend this film.

Terminator Genesys
Sci-fi action sequel/reboot. Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Clarke, Jai Courtney, Emilia Clarke, Matt Smith. Mixed reviews. But I enjoyed this film and recommend it to you. As with the first film Kyle Reece is to be sent back to 1984 to protect Sarah Connor. However things have changed. The film pays homage to early entries. Good acting, special effects and acting. Emilia has a fantastic body. I hadn't realised that she is the hot dragon lady in Game Of Thrones. I like time travel films. Good plot twists. Starring Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves. The last film that they did together was Speed. I shall be selling this DVD on eBay. Cert 12, you might like Predestination, The Time Traveller's Wife, The Jacket, Frequency, Deja Vu, Premonition. A sci-fi romantic drama. Dr Kate Forster has finally found romance. It is a long distance relationship. She is in Chicago 2006. Architect Alex Wyler is in a lakeside suburb in 2004. Kate had left a note for the next Tennant of a lake house. They write back and forth. I did assume they'd be decades apart. Age Of Adeline is out in cinemas. Warner Bros 2006. 7321900736725. Special features are outtakes, scenes and trailer. There is some nice music on the soundtrack. Good acting and editing. Mixed reviews but I think this is a good movie. Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure was Keanu's time travel movie.

Cert 15. Starring Ethan Hawke, Sarah Snooke, Noah Taylor. Sci Fi film about time travel. Saw a trailer for Robot Overlords. A good start to the film. Nice special effects. I am having to turn the volume up to hear the dialogue. There is a book called Mammoth Book Of Time Travel that I recommend. Interesting story of Jane. Transgender/Hermaphrode. As a man looks like Leo Di Caprio and as a woman looks like Emma Stone. Hawke plays a Temporal Agent travelling through time preventing crimes. He is after a terrorist. Good plot twists. Thought provoking film. I shall look at the forum discussion on this topic. It was a based on a novel. Good reviews on Amazon. I hope that you see this film.

Sci-fi teen drama. Plenty of comedy. Good special effects. Nice cleavage shots of the blonde Chris. The brunette Jessie is pretty. Good shots of legs too. David is a handsome guy. David and friends had discovered a time machine in his dad's basement. So they decide to have a little fun with it. Interesting soundtrack. Produced by Michael Bay. You might also like Repeaters, Earth To Echo, Super 8, Chronicle, Predestination, Triangle, The Butterfly Effect. It is shot in a POV style. Quite a few films get a mention. Great cast of actors. Cert 12. Jonny Weston, Sofia Black-D'Elia, Sam Lerner, Allen Evangelista, Virginia Gardner, Amy Landecker. Bonus: alternate ending and opening plus deleted scenes.
