Great opening sequence paying homage to Bond. Allison Janey and Miranda Hart also appear. Monica Boccarin is hot as always. Parodies Bourne, Mission Impossible too. Peter Serafinowiz. Good soundtrack. Statham gets good lines. Susan is sent on a mission to track a villian and hopefully the CIA can get their hands on a nuclear weapon. Good actors. Rayna is dislikeable. In one scene Susan looks like Dawn French. Hart gets annoying. There is this pretty brunette which plays a small part. Extra features are bloopers.

Behind Closed Doors aka The Poker House

Based on a true story by Lori Petty. Stars Selma Blair as a drug using mother, seems flat chested too. Teenage daughter Jennifer Lawrence who has to take care of everything. Chloe Grace Moretz is incredibly cute. Set in the 70s. The family live in poverty. There is a pimp that visits often played by Bokeem Woodbine. Various characters, some are bizarre. Interesting bar scene thanks to David Alan Grier. Great acting. You might like It's Kind Of A Funny Story, 8 Mile. It is a drama. There is a young girl that is the middle sister Sophie Bairley. Chloe has always been a top actress. I had only just watched Carrie again. There are programmes like Benefit Street for you to see. Strong dialogue and subject matter. Based on a true story. Stars Chloe Grace Moretz. Some of the dialogue I couldn't hear because of the accent. Eddie Redmayne is some strange man giving the girl a lift. She is headed to Las Vegas. Blake Lively, Juliet Lewis, Alec Baldwin also star. Music is interesting. Luli had only just turned 13. You may have seen The Poker House, Wild, Tracks. Some impressive drawings. See the reviews and back story. Contains swearing, violence, drug abuse and some strange subjects. These are a good cast of actors but the characters aren't likeable. Based on a novel by Andrea Portes. I'm left wondering what the fuck.

The team run by Franklin Storm are working on a teleportation system. The teens venture to the other dimension and that's where they gain their power. A Marvel Studios 2015"! release. No mid credits scene. Good special effects, acting and story. Worth checking out. Cert 15. Contains humour. Based on actual events. Cool soundtrack. Good dialogue and acting. Wallace reminds me of Anthony Kiedis. Pokes fun at Canadian and American culture. Haley Joel Osment plays Wallace's friend and fellow dj. Haley was the little boy in The Sixth Sense. See the discussions and special features. Ok so this fella named Martin has come to a small town looking for Ana. He finds that she had passed on. Whilst sitting on a bench he is attacked by some thugs. A young man named Peter helps him out. Ana suffered from a disease that makes her addicted to human blood. Perhaps a cannibal or vampire. You might like The New Daughter, Maggie, Let Me In, Extinction, Stakeland, World War Z, The Lazurus Effect, I Am Legend, Contaigon, Carriers. Interesting and different. See Imdb for full cast list. He finds a rare record and hopes to have some time alone to listen to it. But friends, family and neighbours all want some of his time. I recommend Spanish film I'm So Excited and another French film Taxi, American indie The Visitor, Two Days In New York and TV series The Returned, Brit flick with David Tennant What We Did On Our Holiday. Set in Paris. Recent events meaning France will get lots of mention. Great cast of actors.

See how the people deal with living in a post apocalyptic world. The change from human to monster. How the infection is just like any other disease eg ebola, cancer etc. The music may be worth downloading.

Anna Kendrick (fellow Scott Pilgrim co star) appears in this. Lots of swearing, sex reference, nudity and violence. The characters are crazy in their own way.
Minions: A prequel to Despicable Me. Cert U. Universal Studios 2014. 5053083046910. This is a rental copy from the library. Stars Sandra Bullock, Jon Hamm, Michael Keaton, Allison Janey, Steve Coogan, Jennifer Saunders, Geoffrey Rush. Bonus are three mini shorts. Stuart, Kevin and Bob are on a journey. They look for a new employer. They met various people along the way. One being Supervillain Scarlet Overkill. No sound at first but that is due to the DVD player or disc. Got it sorted. An origin story. Good humour. Good soundtrack. Superb animation and attention to detail. Another brilliant job the company have done with this film.
