Evil Resident

I watched Resident Evil: Welcome To Racoon City. Based on the Capcom game franchise. The Umbrella Corporation had been doing experiments. A T-virus is created and an outbreak happens. This made reference to the games. A few of the characters are featured as well as the location. This is an origin story. I have played the games and watched the Anderson films from years ago. You get flashback moments from Claire and Chris Redfield. Jill Valentine and Albert Wesker, Leon Kennedy are at the precinct. Sent on a mission to go the mansion. Claire had come back because of conspiracy theories she believes in. Also see her brother that was on the mission. You have the scientist running the experiments. He and his family have to evacuate. Many of the citizens are infected. I imagine how it looks if Blumhouse made this film. You will recognise the actors. I had seen a Double Toasted video where they mentioned this film. Negative reviews were given so that tainted my view of the film. The special effects could be improved. The soundtrack is something else. Creepy film. Some predictable moments. I doubt that there will be a sequel. Leon could be useless at times. You might have seen The Crazies, 28 Days Later, World War Z, Silent Hill. Go in with an open mind. Avoid the reviews.

I watched Odd Thomas. I thought that I may have seen it before. A horror drama. Director: Stephen Sommers. Starring: Anton Yelchin; Willem Dafoe; Addison Timlin; Nico Tortorella
Adapted from: Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz
Music by: John Swihart.
Odd works as a cook in a cafe. He has special abilities. He can see dead people. They often need his help. He spots these demons called Bodaks. They linger around potential victims. They seem to be interested in a man labelled Fungus Guy. He is shown a vision where people have been massacred. His girlfriend Stormy is hot. As is Viola, a friend of his. Also this blonde character looks hot. Nice slow motion scene. Nice tits and ass. There is the local police chief that knows his secret and they do work together to take down bad guys. The special effects can be a bit sketchy. Anton is a great actor. You might also see him Thoroughbreds, Star Trek, Fright Night. Also see Grimm, Medium, Ghost Whisperer, The Sixth Sense, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Angel, Constantine, Supernatural. There are heartfelt moments. The soundtrack is good. In one scene he goes up against a bigger guy and I think that he would not really be able to hurt him. There is the Love Antosha documentary. These films hit different especially after his death. Worth taking a look. Rip Anton.

I started to watch Resident Evil TV series on Netflix. Must have watched 20 mins. Skipped ahead and then gave up. Some people are giving it negative reviews. That it is like a CW show or that the Weskers are black. The same old fragile shit. Jade was running experiments in London. She has a husband and daughter at home. The zombies move more like 28 Days Later. I liked the Anderson films and the recent film that was out this year. Young Jade seems to be an asshole. But she is right about South Africa. The colonizers will be triggered. I think the woke phrase was used by one of these cunts. The soundtrack is good though.

Silence is golden

I watched The Silence. Based on a novel by Tim Lebbon. It will have comparisons to A Quiet Place. Neither creator would have known about the other. A horror film. These creatures called Vesps have been living underground and evolving. Because of some expedition they are freed. They can't see and track their prey via sound. Looking like pterodactyls. There is a teenage girl who is deaf. She has her mum and dad, gran and little brother. There is an Uncle Glenn who is a family friend. Obviously you get some cult like group in the apocalypse films. The father doesn't have to use sign language in some scenes. Need to keep it consistent. A few characters are liabilities. The family left their town and kept on moving. Some interesting moments. I saw it on Netflix. Cast Kiernan Shipka; Stanley Tucci; Miranda Otto; John Corbett. CD Universe - Buy New Release DVDs, TV on DVD, Music Videos and Much More

Who is in control?

Possessor is by Brandon Cronenberg. A scifi horror. His father would be proud. Slow paced. Andrea Riseborough plays an assassin named Tasya Vos working for this organisation. The equipment that they use allows the participant to possess the host's body. Carry out an assassination and leave no trace. I was hoping that I would see multiple hosts. Jennifer Jason Leigh is her boss. There is plenty of graphic violence, sex and nudity. Some nice cock, tits and pussy on show. It will shock some audiences. You might like the soundtrack. I am left asking a few questions. Anyhow the main job is this man named Colin Tate. A former drug dealer now working for a company. His girlfriend is rich. Her father played by Sean Bean is the ceo. As always someone has to be killed. The host isn't willing to give up control. You may have also see Upgrade, Quantum Leap, Self/Less. Tuppence Middleton and Christopher Abbott also star.

Bite me

I have just watched Night Teeth. A horror thriller. Benny is a young man at college. He makes music. His brother owns a chauffeur company. In this world the humans and vampires live side by side. There is a truce that has been broken by the power hungry Victor. Blaire and Zoe hire a limo for the night. Benny just happened to work that shift. You may have seen Collateral, From Dusk Till Dawn, Blade, Daywalkers. The actress playing Blaire reminds me of Selena Gomez. Victor is similar to Deacon Frost. Grace and Eva have nice tits. The soundtrack is good. Good acting from all the cast. Currently on Netflix. Jorge Lendeborg Jr. as Benny Perez Debby Ryan as Blaire Lucy Fry as Zoe Alfie Allen as Victor Sydney Sweeney as Eva Raúl Castillo as Jay Perez Alexander Ludwig as Rocko Megan Fox as Grace Bryan Batt as Gio Marlene Forte as Abuela I have watched Vampires Vs The Bronx. A comedy horror. Set in the a neighbourhood. It is being gentrified bit by bit. People are going missing. Vampires are moving in. Some idiot rightwingers will take offence to the film as they are a bunch of snowflakes. Some stereotypes being used. A few annoying characters. You have Miguel the protagonist with his two best friends. Organising a party to help save the Bodega. You have some familiar faces like Chris Redd, Method Man, Mero. I thought Sarah Gadon was Caitlin Reilly. Other cast are Coco Jones, Gregory Diaz IV, Jordan Michael, Gerald Jones III who reminds me of Tyler The Creator, Shea Whigham, Vladimir Caamano. The soundtrack is decent. You might have seen Night Teeth, Blade, Attack The Block.

Take a trip through nature

CD Universe - Pre-Order or Buy DVDs From Your Favorite Actors
I have just watched British horror film In The Earth. Would have been made during the Covid19 pandemic. During lockdown. A scientist named Martin has arrived at a camp during the pandemic. He has a job to do and wants to speak to an old colleague of his. His tour guide Alma goes with him. You have Zach that is living in the forest. Also a scientist named Olivia that is running an experiment. You could tell which characters could not be trusted. This is a weird film. There are plenty of strobing effects. It looks like something Danny Boyle could have made. The soundtrack isn't bad. Great performance from the actors especially Reece Sheersmith. Nice special effects. That can get a bit much. This is an indie film. Written by Ben Wheatley. I may need to look at reviews and discussions. You might have seen Midsommar, Sunshine, Blair Witch Project, Evil Dead, Misery, The Forest, Annihilation.

I have watched Midsommar written and directed by Ari Aster. Starring Florence Pugh. A slow paced horror movie. One of those psychological cult films. There isn't much of a soundtrack. Quite a bit of silence during dialogue scenes. You have the odd chants, folk singing and people making weird noises. Good cast of actors. The extras had to put in some work. A lot of the time standing around and other scenes just doing some weird shit. It is a little fucked up. Some scenes I just skipped a few seconds as it felt repetitive. Some good tits on show in one scene. Interesting to see where this was filmed. Making use of the local Swedish actors. I didn't quite like the protagonist Dani as she seems controlling. A family tragedy happened at the beginning. Her boyfriend Christian is always there to support her. He had a university project to do. He is joined by friends Mark and Josh. Mark is a no nonsense kind of guy. Josh is knowledgeable. Pelle is laid back. He invited the group to his home where a festival is being held. Things eventually take a dark turn. You might like the special effects, cinematography, soundtrack, audio. Some of it is quite subtle. The sex scene was just a bit much. Also a moment where Mark was taking a piss I don't think he had got to finish or washed his hands. When the villagers would chant or scream, moan in unison you would think that they were a hive mind. A lot of the actors can sing. The dance choreography took some time. It works though. You do kind of guess what might happen to certain characters. Why choose some over the others? I do distinctly hear screaming in the background but it isn't addressed. I was quite sleepy when I started watching and I would have nodded off. I continued it the next day. I think some gave it a negative review because of the pace and how strange it was. I believe that posters and other images in the early part were the foreshadowing. I tend to look at discussions and the trivia for the film. If you like this then I also recommend In The Earth, The Wicker Man, The Wicker Tree, Hereditary, Lost, The Sacrament, The Endless, Stepford Wives, The Burbs, Arlington Road. Florence Pugh, Jack Reynor, Vilhelm Blomgren, William Jackson Harper, Will Poulter, Ellora Torchia, Archie Madekwe, Henrik Norlén, Gunnel Fred.

Izombie

I watched the pilot episode of iZombie. From DC/ Vertigo. On Netflix. A horror drama. It did remind me of Pushing Daisies, Gilmore Girls and Nancy Drew. The leading actress reminded me of Amy Adams. Her sister is hot. A young doctor had gone to party and there was a zombie outbreak. Well a minor one. She was infected. Now one of the undead. She works in a morgue. Eating the victim's brains helps her have a psychic connection. I wasn't sure if I would watch the entire episode or even the series. It might appeal to a female audience. You may have seen Zombieland, Warm Bodies, Life After Beth. Interesting soundtrack. Comic book cut scenes. Her boss is British. There is black detective that need her help. Originally on the CW. There are references to the work Boyle and Romero. 5 seasons. You should see Ash Vs Walking Dead. Starring: Rose McIver; Malcolm Goodwin; Rahul Kohli; Robert Buckley; David Anders; Aly Michalka; Robert Knepper; Bryce Hodgson.

Don't hang up

I have just watched The Call. A Korean scifi horror. Great acting from the cast. The two leading ladies really stand out. Superb special effects. The soundtrack is good. Plenty of twists. You have the regular time travel films, the time loop ones then ones like this where two inviduals separated by time communicate with each other. These Korean films have always been good. The first that I ever saw was Oldboy. Director: Lee Chung-hyeon Starring: Park Shin-hye; Jeon Jong-seo Music by: Dalpalan Park Shin-hye as Kim Seo-yeon[2] Jeon Jong-seo as Oh Young-sook[3] Kim Sung-ryung as Eun-ae, Seo-yeon's mother. Lee El as Ja-ok, Young-sook's mother Oh Jung-se as Seong-ho Lee Dong-hwi as Baek Mi-hyun Park Ho-san as Mr. Kim (Seo-yeon's father) You have Seo-Yeon living her life in a small town in 2020. She receives a call on a cordless phone. From a young woman named Young-Sook in 1999. Young lives with her abusive stepmother. Seo lives with mother. They both inhabit the same house but in different decades. As they have more conversations. Subtle things along the time line change. I find the concept interesting. Frequency and The Lake House are other films that I recommend. Dark and clever film. I will look at theories and discussions. I may take a look at Parasite. I saw this on Netflix. Highly recommended.

I have started to watch Squid Game. A Korean horror series. It had been getting rave reviews. I enjoyed watching Saw, Circle, Exam, Escape Room, The Task, Takeshi's Castle, Wipeout. So I would eventually see this. The soundtrack is good. A secret organisation has organised a series of games. People who are in debt have entered to play. It is a matter of life and death. The winner would receive a large cash sum. Great acting from the cast and extras. The props and costume department have done well. There is swearing and violence. The games are based on kids games. I was trying to understand the instructions in the opening credits scene. I see why they had that main theme tune. It is a little tongue in cheek. The protagonist or one of the main characters is a man living with his mother. He should treat his mother with more respect. He sees his daughter on her birthday. Some might call him a deadbeat dad. You do dislike him at first. I felt sorry for him. Quite like the businessman that approached him at the station. You have memes and parodies of the show. People will dress as the characters for Halloween. On Netflix. There is talk of a second series. You have an ominous looking leader that watches as the games are played. There is humour. I watch it with original dialogue with English subtitles. I noticed the Indian guy there. Worth taking a look.

Train To Busan is a Korean horror movie. A businessman is always working. He has split from his wife. There is shared custody of their young daughter. As her birthday approaches. They go on a trip to see the mother. Meanwhile a zombie outbreak is happening. Interesting to have it set on a train. Good acting from all cast and extras. There is some annoying things eg the daughter wandering off, people not getting a move on, a questionable decision to open a door. A variety of characters. Personalities clash. The actor that is the protagonist was recently in Squid Game. You might have seen 28 Days Later, La Horde, Dawn Of The Dead, Zombieland, I Am Legend. Nice soundtrack.

I am currently watching Hellbound. A Korean horror drama TV series. It is quite dark and sinister. First of all you have a detective and his daughter. He is busy investigating the recent attacks that have taken place. The mother was murdered a few years ago. The police chief is understanding yet strict. There is a church or a cult called The New Truth Society. You could compare them to Westboro Baptist Church. They are wanting people to live a life free of sin. Those that do wrong will be exposed and punished. Their leader is charismatic, young, handsome. He is in the limelight. The actor playing him does a fantastic job. That also goes for every cast member. The Arrowhead are an evil bunch of thugs. They are associated with the church. Brutal scenes. I like the attorney, she is attractive, does the best that she can. Not everything is black and white. There is this streamer in multicolour and is somewhat annoying. He is broadcasting what went on regarding the church and doxxes people. The trailer that was shown is the first scene. An angelic figure appears to an individual telling them of when they will die. Once that day arrives these Hulk like demons appear and unleash hell on the victim. Finally taking their soul to Hell. There are many believers but also some sceptics. You do get reveals early on in the series. If you liked Squid Game, Death Note, Final Destination, Constantine, Saw then this is for you. Interested to see what the reaction channels make of it. Maybe the cgi could do with some work. Some actors may be familiar to you. I recommend Old Boy, The Call. Yoo Ah-in as Jeong Jin-soo, a cult leader, the head of the emerging religion 'New Truth Society' Park Sang-hoon as young Jeong Jin-soo Kim Hyun-joo as Min Hye-jin, an attorney Park Jeong-min as Bae Young-jae, Broadcasting Station PD Won Jin-ah as Song So-hyun, Bae Young-jae's wife Yang Ik-june as Jin Kyeong-hoon, detective Kim Do-yoon Kim Shin-rok as Park Jeong-ja Ryu Kyung-soo as Yoo Ji, priest of the cult Lee Re as Jin Hee-jeong, Jin Kyeong-hoon's daughter Im Hyeong-guk as Gong Hyeong-joon, sociology professor

Groovy

I have started watching Ash Vs Evil Dead. Developed for TV by Sam Raimi. Based on the films. 30 years later. Ash is living the quiet life. He has his camper van. Works at a department store. Goes on dates. He has a young colleague named Pablo that always has his back. There is new girl Kelly that also works there. You have an FBI agent named Amanda that had been following a case. The special effects can be cheesy. Plenty of gore and violence. Contains swearing. The Deadites are causing havoc and will follow Ash. Far too much screaming in the finale. Side boob shots with nipples. Comedy horror. I recommend the films too. You may have also watched Ghostbusters, Supernatural, Constantine, Stranger Things, The X-Files. Showing on Netflix.
Bruce Campbell, Ted Raimi, Dana Delorenzo, Lucy Lawless, Ray Santiago, Jill Marie Jones. Great acting from all cast members. You might like the soundtrack.

Hello? Is it me that you're looking for?

I watched The Call on NowTv Sky Cinema. A supernatural horror. Starring Lin Shaye, Tobin Bell, Chester Rushing, Erin Sanders, Sloane Morgan Siegel, Mike C Manning, Ciara Hanna. Set in a small town in the 80s. There is Chris, a new guy. Moved to the town and started school. He befriended Tonya who is hot. Her ex boyfriend is Zack and his brother Brett make up the group. They are trouble makers. Edward and Edith Cranston are an elderly couple living in a mansion. As Tonya's sister went missing years ago. Edith had got the blame. The teens would torment the Cranstons. Edith had committed suicide. She included the teens in her will. Edward had to gather them together at the home. They must take part in a game. Very creepy. You might like the soundtrack. Good special effects. You have some great actors here. I have watched a lot of Shaye's films. Bell, only with the Saw franchise. Rushing was in Stranger Things. There is a line in the film where he says "I have seen stranger things..." that has to have been intentional. If you liked the Insidious then this is for you. I also recommend It Follows. Worth checking out.

Stay safe

I rented The Forever Purge from Google Play Movies for £15.99. This film will trigger the right-wing asshat in America. Taking place years after Election Year. The purge night has been reinstated. For 12 hours crime is legal. You are seeing things from this couple who are Mexican immigrants. Influenced by the Trump era as was The First Purge. They have settled in Texas. The wife works at a food factory and the husband is an employee on the ranch. Some characters are liberal whilst others are bigoted. The actress that was Tess in Smallville is in this. Racism and classism are topics covered in the film. There are tensions brewing. There is a white supremacist group that want to keep the purge going. Seeing bipoc take them on will trigger the right-wing whites. They being tonedeaf and don't like being seen as the bad. A scifi horror. Apocalypse. Think of The Walking Dead but without the zombies. Fights between factions. The sister on the family farm is hot. Possibly has a thing for one Mexican guy. The father reminds me of John McCain. The son is prejudiced. The one Mexican actor reminds me of the demon guy in the Constantine film. Might be the same actor. Good soundtrack especially end credits song. Good acting from all cast and extras. Irony of Canada and Mexico offering refuge to Americans. I will look into the area around the border and the reservation. Colonisers going crazy and not realising that this land was never theirs. If you enjoy violent films then see this film. Wait for the price to go down as I know it was cheaper to see this in the cinema. Paying now is like buying a dvd.

Keep the noise down

I have just watched A Quiet Place 2. A horror sequel starring Emily Blunt, John Krasinski, Cillian Murphy, Millicent Simmons, Noah Jupe. Following the events of the first film. The Abbott family are on the move. There is a nice flashback scene. Shows you how the aliens got here. Interested to know more about them. They are blind and are attracted to sound. When they attack they are viscous. Another apocalyptic film with Cillian. They are a great cast of actors. Good use of Sign Language. Good action sequences and plenty of suspense. Sometimes the audio switches to no noise at all depending on the character. You will like the soundtrack. John wrote and directed both films. As always there is safe space for the survivors. You get the odd character that makes too much noise fucking things up. I did think that certain scenes would go one way. You have various scenerios playing out. I recommend that you see this movie.

Please enjoy your flight

I watched Blood Red Sky. A horror film that has vampires. The trailer does show alot. The film in in German and English. You get the option of multiple languages and subtitles. The opening scene has a plane arriving at a British army base. Probably could have done without it. Go to flashback mode to the beginning of the story. Nadja is suffering from a mysterious illness and there is a cure in New York. She must board a plane to get there. The son Elias was a little annoying. You have a multitude of characters. Good acting, stunts, music. The actress Peri Baumeister does remind me of Naomi Rapace. Dominic Purcell has played a vampire in Blade Trinity. Imdb trivia will mention that. A bunch of terrorists have hijacked the plane. Eightball is a psycho. You learn a bit more about the infection. I am left wondering how many others might be like this. There will be spoiler filled discussions on the story. I am reminded of Die Hard 2, Flight Of The Living Dead, Quarantine 2 Terminal. Showing on Netflix.

Do you want to build a snowman, I mean play a game?

I have just watched Spiral: From The Book Of Saw. Starring Chris Rock, Max Minghella, Samuel L Jackson. I have seen other films that Rock has been in like Dogma. I remember a film he did with Morgan Freeman. His stand up comedy. There is a behind the scenes tour footage on a Red Hot Chili Peppers dvd where Rock pays them a visit. Sometimes in this game there are no winners. You have Detective Zeke. Trying to be the best that he can at his job. He is dealing with corrupt cops. There is a lot of tension. The Spiral killer is on the loose and has been targeting police officers. The Captain, Angie is hot. As I haven't watched any of the Saw franchise in a while you forget how gruesome it is. There is a nod to the first film and the old theme is there. You workout things as Zeke does. The trap scenes are shown in parts. Who knows if there are any sequels. Worth taking a look.

I went to watch Escape Room Tournament Of Champions at Cineworld. It is a horror film. As I enjoyed the Saw, Hostel, Final Destination, Cube franchises I would see this. You might also like Circle, Exam, Truth Or Die. This begins with a recap of the first film which I have not seen. I did see another film of the same name. The Zoey character is attractive. She and Ben had been in the first game. Having escaped that they were going to solve the mystery of the people running the game and expose them. As soon as I saw one character in the city I knew what would happen. I saw the clues when the psychiatrist was talking to Zoey. They did well with the special effects. A good cast of actors. One woman seemed annoying. A new game has begun. I do believe that these horror movies were influenced by the older films. You might like the soundtrack. Notably the end credits song that reminded me of The Final Destination opening theme. The previous film was released in 2019. The one I saw was from 2017. Anyhow you would hope that they would get the puzzle sorted and get out. Not sure if another film will be made. Taylor Russell as Zoey Davis Logan Miller as Ben Miller Deborah Ann Woll as Amanda Harper Thomas Cocquerel as Nathan Holland Roden as Rachel Ellis Indya Moore as Brianna Collier Carlito Olivero as Theo

Friday 28 May 2021

Cineworld.co.uk Here to watch The Conjuring 3. Ed and Lorraine Warren are on another case. Starting off a possession of a young boy. I won't spoil what goes on from there. But it is interesting how the film makers refer to true stories and the cases of the protagonists. Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson have done well in all the films. There is a murder case that has to be solved. The phrase "the devil made me do it" has probably been used a lot. Good special effects. I had my suspicions of one character. Good to have an antagonist that speaks. You might like the soundtrack. There is one song that is Ed and Lorraine's own theme which I will download. Great cast of actors. Will be making more trips to the cinema.

Sunday 23 May 2021

I watched Army Of The Dead on Netflix. It is a horror movie by Zack Snyder. The plague has hit Las Vegas. There is a group of mercenaries/volunteers recruited by a Japanese businessman. He wants them to get the money that has been locked in the safe in a casino. Interesting special effects. Someone on Twitter was discussing a possible theory about one plot point and not everyone has seen the film. Great acting from all actors from main to extras. The soundtrack is a mixture. I did think that some characters were wasting time and bullets. You will see what I mean. Interesting concept as to how the zombies think and communicate. I will look at discussions and theories. Kate's eyes are unique. There some really good horror flicks such as Cargo, Outpost, Shaun Of The Dead, Rec etc. Dave Bautista stars. I envisioned how it might go for a few of the characters. The animals are fascinating. Nice tits on the Showgirls. Rich Cetrone and Athena Perample play the Alpha King and Queen. Athena is hot.

Monday 13 July 2020

A Spanish horror film. I am watching on Netflix. Interesting filming location. There was the civil war in the beginning. Eight years later. A poor village. Through the forest is a Blacksmith. He is an outcast. Rumours are about him having made a pact with the Devil. Other villagers are featured. One being a little girl. Lost her mother years ago. She spends time playing alone. These trailers do reveal too much. A government official has come to investigate. I saw one review on IMDb and it almost tainted my view of the movie. Good cast of actors, dialogue and special effects. Special mention to the actor playing the demon.

Cast

Kandido Uranga

Patxi

Monday 18 May 2020

Escape Room is a psychological horror. It is a guy's birthday. He is with his girlfriend and they are headed to the restaurant to meet some friends. A trip to a place where they hold escape room type games is organised. You have this phone conversation during the opening credits. You are given clues as to who the villain is. There is a history between the characters. In the rooms they don't have any instructions but seem to work out what needs to be done. I do wonder what happened with Asian friend. Clever games, good special effects. The actors have been in other things that you may recognise them from. One of the characters wearing glasses is annoying. The blonde Kristen has nice tits. I did feel that I may have seen this film before. It is an indie flick. See the reviews.

Cast (18)
