Let me in

Prey For The Devil starring Jacqueline Byers, Colin Salmon, Christian Navarro, Lisa Palfrey, Nicholas Ralph, Ben Cross, Virginia Madsen. A horror movie about demonic possession. It has mixed reviews on imdb. The actress playing Sister Ann is hot. Anyway there are flashbacks to her childhood living with an abusive mother that may have been possessed. Now a grown woman she is at a convent. Transfers to a college operated by The Vatican. Set in Boston. Women aren't allowed to be exorcists. You will recognise the actor playing Father Quinn. He is teaching these priests. He allows Ann to join his lectures. She makes a few friends, one being Dante. There is a psychologist Dr Peters, the actress you will recognise. She gives scientific reasoning for the cases. There is a young girl named Natalie who is possessed. A demon has a connection with Ann regarding her mother. Ann has to fight the forces of darkness. Good jump scares. Often these supernatural films become predictable. Good special effects and acting. You might like The Exorcist, The Last Exorcism, The Exorcism Of Emily Rose, The Possession Of Hannah Grace.

The Devil Conspiracy. I had felt that I had already seen this before. A horror thriller. Independent film. Mixed reviews as expected. Alice Orr-Ewing, Joe Doyle, Eveline Hall, Peter Mensah, Joe Anderson, Spencer Wilding, Brian Caspe and James Faulkner. Interesting story. Good visuals. Starting off with these portals or wormholes. One from Heaven and other to Hell. Lucifer is cast down. You see Michael arrive to chain him up. Modern day Italy. Laura is an artist though might have other projects going on. Marconi is a priest that has given her access. Meanwhile there is this company that can engineer clones of the most influential people in history. There are people funding this. Liz is a demonic woman. Working with other Satanists. They want to resurrect Lucifer. The Shroud Of Turin is stolen. Christ's DNA will be used. I did wonder how they weren't suspicious of a woman in a cloak. Michael must get the stolen item and thwart their plans. Good soundtrack. Unknown actors but did a good job. You might have seen Legion, Constantine, End Of Days, Prey For The Devil, Supernatural, Lucifer.

A long time ago

I watched the scifi film 65. Starring Adam Driver as Mills, Ariana Greenblatt as Koa, Chloe Coleman as Nevine, Nika King as Alya and Brian Dare as Zoic Computer Voice. It has mixed reviews. Produced by Sam Raimi and written by the people behind A Quiet Place. I took this as some sort of time travel film. It has a nice soundtrack, good effects and acting. You might also like Chronical 2067, High Life, Love And Monsters, Prospect, Outlander, La Brea, Jurassic Park, After Earth. A pilot named Mills is sent on a two year mission taking him away from his wife and ill daughter. He is returning to the planet Somaris. He has a few people on board, all in chyogenic chambers. There is a meteor shower that forces the ship to land on Earth 65 millions ago. One of the survivors is Koa, a young girl. There is a language barrier. There are plenty of dinosaurs roaming around. He has to get to the escape pod. It is a race against time as another meteor is going make an impact. Worth taking a look. I am going to look at trivia and discussion on the back story.

This sci-fi film called Outlander. I have seen it before. Cast: Jim Caviezel, Sophia Myles, Jack Huston, Ron Perlman, John Hurt. During the time period the Vikings were alive. A man from outer space crash lands on Earth. Meanwhile there is a monster on the loose. If you like Predator, 65, Alien then this is for you. Regarding the special effects take it with a pinch of salt. Good soundtrack. Worth reading Imdb trivia. There is a interesting scene using shields. I have read these Stephen Baxter books. The Vikings are at war with another village. They were suspicious our visitor. Interesting dialogue.

A chapter from the Book Of The Dead

I went to the cinema to see Evil Dead Rise. Directed by Sam Raimi and also produced by Bruce Campbell. I had booked as soon as I was awake. It was unfortunately subtitled. There was this huge fly that was pissing me off. Hanging around for a while. I felt that the trailer showed too much. This film has been getting praised. Good special effects. Great cast of actors. The two leading ladies are hot. I am sure those that were thirsting over Lady D from Resident Evil 8 will now simp over Sutherland. Set in Los Angeles. There is an opening scene from the cabin by the lake. Where trouble had already started. So LA takes place the day before. An old building that used to be a bank. There are a variety of people living there. The main protagonists, the family seem quite liberal. Leading an alternative lifestyle. An earthquake happens. Now it could have been intentional. Ellie runs her own business. She has three kids. The youngest is Kassie, Bridget is socially conscious, planning to go to a protest. Danny loves his music and has dj equipment. Beth is a guitar technician. She realises that she is pregnant. She goes to visit her relatives. The Book Of The Dead is found in a vault. Partly Danny's fault for this shit happening. I did wonder how this film connects to the the other films and tv series. If Ash Williams would make an appearance but it would not work. Pretty soon a demon has been released. Takes hold of Ellie. I like that no one is safe. Plenty of violence and gore. It will have jump scares which didn't bother me. You should see Alyssa Sutherland react to the tweets from the fans. Will there be anymore films? I am not sure why the man was shouting at the cast during the premiere. Maybe an antisjw conservative. I didn't stay to see if there was an end credits scene.
Lily Sullivan as Beth
Alyssa Sutherland as Ellie
Morgan Davies as Danny
Gabrielle Echols as Bridget
Nell Fisher as Kassie
Richard Crouchley as Caleb
Mirabai Pease as Teresa[m
Anna-Maree Thomas as Jessica
Jayden Daniels as Gabriel

An action comedy thriller. Set in Japan. The Father is a young man that wants to find the person responsible for causing his son harm. The Elder is also family. He is seeking revenge. Ladybug gets set on a mission to retrieve a suitcase, he is guided by Maria who has a sexy voice. Two Brits named Tangerine and Lemon are with the client's son. They have possession of the suitcase. The Prince might look sweet and innocent, very pretty too but has an agenda. The White Death is a Russian that worked for the Yakuza. The Wolf had a wedding where the family was killed and so has arrived. The Hornet has been secretly causing mayhem. There are cameos. Good humour and fight scenes. Clever dialogue. Impressive soundtrack. All the actors are good. Thought of Scott Pilgrim and Kick-Ass the way it is edited and how the words appear on the screen. Goodbye Mr Wick

Keanu Reeves · Laurence Fishburne · George Georgiou · Lance Reddick · Clancy Brown · Ian McShane · Marko Zaror · Bill Skarsgård - Hiroyuki Sanada - Shamier Anderson - Donnie Yen - Rina Sawayama.
John Wick Chapter 4 from Lionsgate. The final film. Action Thriller. Saw this at the cinema.
John is still on the run. He has his sights on The High Table. They have sent The Harbinger. Closing down operations at the hotel. Putting Winston and Charon out of a job. The Marquis has arrived. He wants Wick dead. Caine has been hired to kill John. There is a Tracker that wants the money and offers his services. Plenty of action. With one scene you could see the choreography and stunt work it was obvious. Misfires and how characters are not dead. Some bad guys had been suited with body armour. There is a scene later on which is impressive due to how creative the kills were. The card game scene was good. The boss has good moves on him. John has enlisted the help of old friends. Impressive cinematography. Nice soundtrack. Lance Reddick has only just passed away. Great acting and special effects. There is a post credits scene. There is talk of spin offs. There will be trivia to look at. Some questions are being asked. Worth taking a look. The whole series was good. Eva Longoria was a producer and backer for the first film. I had seen her at a shift that I worked at.
I did find the view obscured from this blonde sitting in the front. A bit of chatter from the side.

Who is there?

Horror movies at Cduniverse

I have just watched Knock At The Cabin. An M Night Shyamalan film. Horror drama. A young gay couple Andrew and Eric have gone to stay at this nice cabin in the countryside. With them is their cute adopted daughter Wen. A burly man approached the home. His name is Leonard. He is soon joined by Redmond, Adriane and Sabrina. All of them from different states. Now they speak of an apocalypse. The only way to stop it is for a sacrifice. They could be telling the truth. However they might just be a doomsday cult and nothing will actually happen. I like with these films by this director. You will be kept guessing. Great acting by all of the cast. Especially Dave Bautista. The group aren't really that threatening but are convinced that the world is about to end. You can see that the characters are conflicted. I haven't seen anything that Rupert Grint was in beside Harry Potter. Based on the novel The Cabin At The End Of The World by Paul G Tremblay. You might also like Cabin In The Woods, Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World, 2012, The Day After Tomorrow, Don't Look Up, Mother's Day, The Strangers. Worth checking out. Dave Bautista, Ben Aldridge, Jonathan Groff, Steve Sacavitch, Kristen Cui, Nikki Amuka-Bird, Rupert Grint. It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine.
